UNDERWEAR IS IMPORTANT!=20

:D

Always wear clean underwear in public, especially when working =
under your vehicle...=20

From the Northwest Florida Daily News comes this story of a =
Crestview couple who drove their car to Wal-Mart, only to have their car =
break down in the parking lot. The man told his wife to carry on with =
the shopping while he fixed the car in the lot.=20

The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the =
car. On closer inspection, she saw a pair of male legs protruding from =
under the chassis. Although the man was in shorts, his lack of =
underpants turned private parts into glaringly public ones. Unable to =
stand the embarrassment, she dutifully stepped forward, quickly put her =
hand UP his shorts, and tucked everything back into place.=20

On regaining her feet, she looked across the hood and found =
herself staring at her husband who was standing idly by. The mechanic, =
however, had to have three stitches in his forehead.

OMG - that's funny! And reminds me of something that happened to me when I was 17.

My boyfriend drove a Ivory, '69 Nova that was suped-up with headers, mag wheels and a red leather interior. Wasn't the run of the mill car in the neighbourhood.
One day after school, I see the car parked in the parking lot with "my boyfriend" leaning over the driver's side in the front seat, looking like he was getting something out of the glove compartment.
I thought to myself how nice it was that he came to pick me up after school (even though I lived just across the road). Maybe he wanted to go somewhere.
I sneaked up behind him, and gave him a "gotchya grab" from behind and planted a huge kiss on the back of his neck that made him whip around to face me.

It wasn't my boyfriend AT ALL! I had just grabbed the family jewels of a total stranger!!!

What made matters worse, was that when I was telling my boyfriend about it later, he didn't seem to care what I had done - he was more interested in the fact that another guy had the same car as he did!

Ever run into this guy years later?
I put boyfriend in quotes, because it turned out that it wasn't my boyfriend afterall!

Never saw the guy or he car again - it was like an episode of the twilight zone I swear! The guy even had the same tall, skinny build with medium brown hair that my boyfriend had. It was like someone had set me up for it or something!

My real boyfriend did make me drive around the whole neighbourhood with him though to see if we could find him. He wanted to see if they could trade parts for their cars!! (As IF I wanted to run into the guy again). That's what you get for dating a teenage guy who loves his car more than anything else in the world I guess. ;)

Actually yes - did run into the old boyfriend in my early twenties - even went to a housewarming for he and the girl he ended up marrying. He stayed friends with one of my brothers after we broke up.

Yeah, I reread the post and I saw that you meant the other guy.

As for your ex-boyfriend, I thought he might turn out to not like girls at all, but you dispelled that.

But what's with all the = signs and the "=20" in there?! Maybe I'm just seeing things?

see, that NEVER would've happened if you had brought your teapot with you :mumble:

...and if it DID happen anyways, you could just start waving your teapot around and everyone would just think you were crazy and ignore your "grabbiness"

Tell me about it!! I don't know how many times I've embarrassed myself!

Honestly though - I SWEAR the car AND guy were identical to my boyfriend! Its the guy liking his car more that's the story of my life!!

Ooooooooo - K

I think I've missed a thread or two here with the teapot reference. I'll have to check that one out.

And as for the woman not recognizing her hubby's equipment - when you've got a crowd around you, know your husband was wearing shorts, is at an angle where his "boys" are low to the ground and are panicking to "hide the evidence", you're not going to take the time to check to see whether he was Jewish or not, and at a quick glance, that's basically all the difference would be! You can't blame her!

Then again, she might have just seen a much larger wrench that she couldn't resist! ;) :p
