Yes, that's Wayne Northrop. Ken Corday said in a TV Guide article that they didn't bring him back to turn out to be the real Roman. But from what I've heard from other people Corday is usually a big fat liar so who knows.

I recognized him right away and wondered how they were going to work his character in if he's not going to be Roman. My only guess, since they've shown a few short clips of the two of them kissing, is that this Dr. North will have known Marlena from her med school days, before Roman and John, and maybe Dr. North never got over losing her and is going to try to get her back.

:confused: Just a guess, I don't see how there could be 2 Romans, but I'm anxiously waiting for each new episode!

BTW - did you guys see that Hope isn't on the boat anymore? And Sammi's about to play the tape for Lucas and tomorrow's Friday and I'm gonna go nuts all weekend wanting to see more!! ;)

If Mr. North is the real Roman Brady then who's the current Roman Brady? Plus, if he's the real Roman, wouldn't he know the name DiMera? This storyline is very intriging(sp), can't wait to see how it turns out!!

He can't be the real Roman, that wouldn't be fair on the current one! :D I really like the current Roman. We already have John not knowing who he is half the time - we don't need current Roman in the same boat. And he certainly can't have been knowingly a DiMera plant for all these years.

It's a nice twist, though. :)

I just thought of something, maybe Dr. North isn't the real Roman, maybe the DiMera's or Rolf planted memories of Roman into Dr. North, it's possible, right?

It is now safe to assume that Alex North is neither Stefano nor the real Roman. He's simply a man Marlena was once/still is married to before she came to Salem. And from what was revealed today from an old friend of Marlena's and Alex's he was an obsessive, abusive husband and is very disappointed that Marlena went back to him, and even told John that he needs to get her away from him as soon as possible.

This old friend, Lois Banks, how come she goes after Marlena? As much as I hate defending Alex, why would Lois lie about Alex being obsessive and abusive, that's "if" she's lying.

I think she's lying cause I read something that would lead me people to believe that.

I still don't think Marlena was even married to Alex. If John was smart he would have contacted Marlena's mother and asked her if she knew about this marriage to Alex.

Who is Marlena's mother? Has Days ever talked about Marlena's family? I only know of her twin sister, Samantha, who was killed.

this whole deal about marlena's past is just full of loop holes. the writing here is so stupid. the whole marlena-alex thing is a lie.
i still say it's stephano. it would take a ton of money to get all kinds of a 'past' created for someone. false paper trials would not come cheap. dimera's have the money. we know stephano is not dead. that was crap from tony. no autopsy was done on the supposed corpse of stephano to prove who it was. there is no other body to show proof.

I'm not sure if he's lying, but I'm still skeptical. I'm still wondering about the cryptic phone call he made a few months ago, telling whoever that everything is going his way and etc etc... So, he's definitely holding back something. I say, "off with his head". lol
