I think there was an episode where J.J. grabs Thelma's Gladys Knight album off the record player and she yells "J.J. be careful with that I paid $4.99 for that record!" Gee, how would the Evans family cope with $18.99 CDs? I guess they would be listening to the radio! I wish we could back to the days of $4.99 music! I thought $9.99 was too much for records and tapes when I was in school in the 80s. :lol:

I remember paying 89 cents for a 45 record back in 1977. People nowadays pay 99 cents to download one song LEGALLY. So I don't understand why they complain abt that. If I bought 10 45's that was close to $10. And I could only play it on a record player. At least a downloaded song can be burned baby burned!!!! LOL offtopic:
