The WWE wants Bret Hart to be the top superstar for the 2006 Hall of Fame next year before Wrestlemania 22. I would dare say that negoitations need to begin around now considering the WWE usually starts hyping Wrestlemania right after the Royal Rumble in January. I would say that Bret Hart and Vince probably are on good terms, it has been 8 years since Survivor Series 1997 and Bret Hart probably realizes that it was not that big of a deal about what happened at that event. Bret Hart has been through a lot in the past 8 years including the death of his brother Owen Hart, having his career ended by Goldberg in late 1999, being Fired by WCW in there final year, being seriously injured in a motorcycle wreck, suffering 2 strokes because of the wreck and the concussion, the death of both Stu and Helen Hart. I would say Bret Hart realizes that it would be best for himself and the WWE if he make a return and give a farewell speech and be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

This is great news. I believe that Bret Hart will get back in the ring for one more match. If Bret decided to wrestle, who should it be against Triple H,Undertaker,or even Shawn Michaels, say Survivor Series? Personally I would love to see Bret vs Kurt Angle. I can see an excellent 30 minute match between those two.

Even if he wanted to wrestle another match, He couldnt. The Post concussion syndrome, and the Stroke he suffered a few years ago make it impossible.

Hypothetically though, I'd love to see Bret vs Angle.

In an interview with Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Live, Bret Hart confirmed that he opted to set aside his differences and work with WWE for the benefit of the fans. Because subjects like Montreal were guaranteed to come up on the DVD, he wanted to make sure that the final product featured his input and did not feel like another "Confidential" special.

Bret Hart will not be utilizing WWE to release his book. While he needed to work with WWE on the DVD - due to its possession of his wrestling footage - he can release his autobiography on his own terms.

Although Hart put over WWE's very favorable treatment of him this past week, he has no immediate plans to resume a working relationship with the company. And, because "The Hitman" has no desire to return as a referee or commissioner, he definitely won't be making a permanent wrestling return.
