View Full Version : Your fave pre-credits sequence...
McFly121 08-03-2005, 02:17 AM For me it's gotta be the "We will rock you" chorus by the whole bar. I love how at sporting events on the Jumbotron they'll sometimes play that. The whole stadium gets into it and I'm smiling proudly that Cheers is being seen by 50,000 ppl at once :).
Norm's Stool 08-03-2005, 07:31 AM I love the one in "Showdown (1)" in which Diane tries, once more, to enlighten the masses and share her love of opera with the gang. That's my favorite episode in the whole series, btw.
barwars 08-03-2005, 09:21 AM I love the one in "Showdown (1)" in which Diane tries, once more, to enlighten the masses and share her love of opera with the gang. That's my favorite episode in the whole series, btw.
Part 1 is your favorite? I always much prefered Part 2, Part 1 just seemed to build up for it.
Dannie IsNotHere 08-03-2005, 02:33 PM I like the one in "The Improbable Dream part 1" where the gang is experimenting on various things that would float in Frasier's beer. I thought it was a good one.
Mikado 08-03-2005, 03:46 PM "I know what you mean, Dr Crane" "I know what you mean, Dr Crane" "I know what you mean, Dr Crane" "I know what you mean, Dr Crane"
TV DVD Fan 08-03-2005, 09:24 PM I thought the Frasier car alarm prank was funny. Another good one was Carla and the jukebox while she's alone. The "We Will Rock You" thing was great though.
pat
I like the Harry the Hat "it's covered" prank.
megamanj2004 08-04-2005, 02:00 PM Just recently, I have to say that the special 200th episode does it for me. Great way to round up all the cast and staff, huh.
TV DVD Fan 08-04-2005, 05:45 PM Oh yeah, I forgot about that one with Harry!

Norm's Stool 08-07-2005, 08:10 AM Part 1 is your favorite? I always much prefered Part 2, Part 1 just seemed to build up for it.
I understand your point, Part 2 may be better than Part 1, objectively speaking (brilliant scipt, brilliant performances, an absolute classic), and it's hard for me to choose, but I still prefer Part 1 because that was the episode I really fell in love with Cheers. I swear I just had the same feeling as falling in love with someone. :loveu Power Play is also an awesome episode. :)
P.S. By the way, hats off to the "We Will Rock You" opening.
barwars 08-07-2005, 11:11 AM Power Play is also an awesome episode.
I loved Parts 1 and 2 of "Showdown", but I never really liked "Power Play." It's one of my least favorite episodes of all the Diane years. Way too Sam & Diane centric for me.
Brian Damage 08-07-2005, 05:17 PM The one where Andy Andy stormed through the door only to find that Diane was no longer employed there.
barwars 08-07-2005, 11:03 PM The one where Andy Andy stormed through the door only to find that Diane was no longer employed there.

And Paul misses it all. That wins, its my favorite. Just another reason Season 11 was the best.
RSCJBACE 05-10-2006, 08:09 PM Which episode is the car alarm Norm and Cliff keep setting off named?
TALLguyinKY 05-12-2006, 03:22 AM Any one with Lilith! :D
The only one I can think of right off is the time Carla claims a personal sex secret is true that she tells Lilith, so Lilith in this rare "sister-bonding" moment confides in Carla how sometimes she plays "Mommy" to Frasier in the bedroom, then Carla grins and says "I lied" and Lilith stammers that she was lying too but Carla knows she got a secret out, lol!
chipsaugratin 07-07-2006, 04:26 PM My selection is from "Don't Paint Your Chickens" from Season 7, when Frasier attempts to discuss an essay about the films of Ingemar Bergman. It morphs into a discussion of Ingrid Bergman, Ingemar Johansen, Bud Abbott, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis & Joe Louis, etc. Hilarious!!
megamanj2004 07-12-2006, 07:24 PM Another fave of mine is when Norm and Cliff are outside the bar, toying with other peoples' lock-device cars!
