Hi, just for general information, there is an episode of the TV show Emergency that uses the PT 73. Gage and Desoto get a call for a man trapped under a trailer, it was on a movie set I believe, anywat, they pull up and sure enough there is a guy trapped under a trailer with a boat on top. I looked at it and said, boy, does that look familiar, sure enough, they cut to the full shot of the boat, and what was there in all it's glory, but the full mock up of the PT 73. The only thing I saw missing was the bridge, it still had PT 73 on the side, it looked great! Emergency was filmed in the early 70's, so the boat must have been sitting on the back lot for a number of years from the time of Mchales cancellation to it being seen on Emergency. Watch for that episode, you will get a big kick out of it! Enjoy!

I Remember that show in 1976. Everyone I Have ask if they saw it just don't remember. Thanks! Had a great laugh 30 years later. Capt. Ron

I saw the PT-73 in the lagoon at the Universal lot in the early '70's. She was still in her "Italy episodes" paint job. PT-73 in haze grey on the port side, and her German E-Boat green camoflauge on the starboard side.

The paint job was split right down the center so that they could use the same boat from different camera angles.
