McCartney admits to bad songs and hair dye
Jul. 30, 2005 at 5:45PM
British rock superstar Paul McCartney says looking back at some of the songs he wrote over the years: "I can't believe what I was on."
The former Beatle even goes as far is labeling some of them "rubbish" in an upcoming interview in Q magazine, the Mirror reported Saturday.
McCartney, 63, also says he is trying to come to terms with growing older.
However, he said, his recent experiments with hair dye had nothing to do with his younger wife, Heather Mills.
"Ten years before I met her I was thinking about dyeing my hair," he said.
"I tried it in Australia ... looked cool until I went on stage. Then this blue liquid poured down my forehead. Highly embarrassing."
McCartney's next album, "Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard," is due out in September.
