View Full Version : Walmart or Target? Rene 08-01-2005, 10:00 PM i choose target cause my sister works at one :) swedeace 08-01-2005, 10:04 PM I choose Wal-Mart because it has a super center. I can shop for misc items and for my groceries all under one roof. It's soooo convenient for me. EmoJoe 08-01-2005, 10:05 PM Target, WalMart is disgusting vienna waits 08-01-2005, 10:05 PM target has better clothes, school supplies, and home items. walmart has better cds. Rene 08-01-2005, 10:07 PM wal mart is starting to get disgusting the one i go to always has liquid on the floor and it smells like old french fries *MIBabe03* 08-01-2005, 10:08 PM Target. MsOrange 08-01-2005, 10:10 PM I like Target better--but I usually only go to Walmart cause there is like 2 of htem around here... i have to go about 25 miles out of my way to go to a Target rusyd 08-01-2005, 10:18 PM Where I live now, both are good. Where I lived before Target was better because WalMart was dirty and crowded. Rachel3118 08-01-2005, 10:35 PM target, it has more things that I need. Kazza 08-01-2005, 10:50 PM There is no Target in this town, when I drive two towns away for it everything is overpriced. Sorry, I'm not paying $25 for a pair of jeans when Walmart sells them at $10. PrettyinPink55 08-01-2005, 10:57 PM Target AllIWantIsYourClutch 08-01-2005, 11:16 PM target has better clothes, school supplies, and home items. walmart has better cds. Yeah...Ditto to that. Target's cds suck but I love their clothes. Zions Mother 08-01-2005, 11:20 PM It all depends on what I need. I love them both. Alot of things are cheaper at Walmart, toiletries, etc..... Target has some higher end things that Walmart doesn't carry, Dyson i.e. I voted for Walmart because I find myself there more often. Miss Golden 08-01-2005, 11:52 PM Wal-Mart and Target differ greatly. Target is way higher on prices than Wal-Mart if you buy toothpaste, medicine, shampoo, video games, WWE action figures, any kind of electronics. Target also features better clothing and household items than Wal-Mart has. Plus every Wal-Mart has a grocery now. Target is trying to go above Wal-Mart, and it has, it is a lot cleaner and the employees are too friendly. Whenever I go to Wal-Mart there employees always look mad and they will never help you with anything if you ask them, plus they are dirty and just wear there old clothes with a little name tag. At Target they make there employees dress with a collar shirt and khaki pants. At our Wal-Mart there are quite a few employees whom wear ankle bracelets... I don't see any of that at Target. Nighthawk76 08-02-2005, 12:19 AM Target  moeee 08-02-2005, 12:22 AM Wal-Mart MissZero 08-02-2005, 12:45 AM walmart has become fa fear of mine..now target is very clean, organized, SPACIOUS, etc PZelda 08-02-2005, 12:56 AM Yeah...Ditto to that. Target's cds suck but I love their clothes. I only like the button-down shirts they have at Target- they're cheaper than if you brought them at department stores. But their pants can go to hell...none of them ever fit me right, so I have to get mine at JCP's. I used to be able to get pants at Marshall Fields too, but they recently closed the one here. I take it you have an issue with ankle bracelets? Miss Golden 08-02-2005, 01:14 AM I take it you have an issue with ankle bracelets? At the Crack House they would be ok, but in the toy department of Wal-Mart is another story. Rene 08-02-2005, 01:18 AM lol i should create a spinoff thread: mcdonalds or burger king? but itd probably get cancelled cause of low ratings. lol get it? low ratings. spinoff. cancelled. get it? you do? its just not funny? ok. TheHappyBurgerMeister 08-02-2005, 01:26 AM target is better imo. it's clean, nice people, more organized, nicer stuff (better clothes- I'd NEVER buy clothes from Wal-mart!), although stuff at wal-mart is cheaper but I'd only buy like some snacks or beauty products at wal-mart really. Southern Hellraiser 08-02-2005, 05:44 AM Target. Dr. John Becker 08-02-2005, 06:19 AM I like Meijer better then both, but between the two, I choose Target. ponytail 08-02-2005, 06:50 AM Target. The store is cleaner, the employees are cleaner and friendlier. The Wal Mart in town is dirty, the parking lot is trashy and the employees look like they hate it there. Even the greeter's look mad. My brother worked for Wal Mart and he hated it there and I worked for Target during the Christmas season and I liked it there. Penny Lane 08-02-2005, 10:02 AM . :D *MIBabe03* 08-02-2005, 10:02 AM . :D I miss Meijers. We don't have them down here. :( Penny Lane 08-02-2005, 10:07 AM I miss Meijers. We don't have them down here. :( Meijer is better than Walmart and Target put together! But of the 2 choices I picked Target. Wal mart is evil! Tuesday Weld 08-02-2005, 10:22 AM I'd say Target. :) marmalade 08-02-2005, 11:28 AM Target. I'm sick of Wal-mart. Rene 08-02-2005, 02:50 PM yea wal mart has defintely gone downhill dawsongirl 08-02-2005, 03:42 PM TARGET!!!!! I  that store. dawsongirl 08-02-2005, 03:48 PM I only like the button-down shirts they have at Target- they're cheaper than if you brought them at department stores. But their pants can go to hell...none of them ever fit me right, so I have to get mine at JCP's. I used to be able to get pants at Marshall Fields too, but they recently closed the one here. I bought a skirt or two there, but all my other pants have come from Gap, Old Navy, or JCP. But I've bought a lot of cute tops at Target. Rene 08-02-2005, 03:51 PM yea i know all of walmarts clothes are soo big they never have my size and when they do its too small but at target its perfect theshark8777 08-02-2005, 05:14 PM Plus every Wal-Mart has a grocery now. The 3 Wal Marts in this area don't have groceries. Anyhow I agree Meijer rules, however there isn't one within 90 minutes of here. I wish there were! Zebra 3 08-02-2005, 05:32 PM lol i should create a spinoff thread: mcdonalds or burger king? but itd probably get cancelled cause of low ratings. lol get it? low ratings. spinoff. cancelled. get it? you do? its just not funny? ok.Speaking of bad jokes, my neighbourhood Hell-Mart actually has a McOuthouse inside of it. robyrob 08-02-2005, 06:53 PM WalMart is pretty much destroying our country the way they have devalued consumer goods by importing all of their "made in China" crap, good luck finding anything that actually says "made in the USA" on it ten years from now. Or a job for that matter... ohno: JDS84 08-02-2005, 07:19 PM No Target or Wal-Mart where I live. The only store we have like that is a K-Mart. theshark8777 08-02-2005, 07:24 PM No Wal-Mart where I live. The only store we have like that is a K-Mart. WOW, where do you live, I thought Walmart was everywhere. Janice 08-02-2005, 08:33 PM There are no Walmarts close to me, but plenty of Targets. I love Target, but not for clothes. I buy all sorts of food and things for the house there. It's a miracle if I get out of there spending only $300. Mikado 08-02-2005, 08:39 PM Giant Tiger......Closest thing we have to target here YoliUSA 08-03-2005, 05:23 PM Well since there's no Target where I live, I guess I prefer Wal-Mart.
