I loved the cartoon (foamation?) show on Fox created/produced by Eddie Murphy. I was just reading an article that was saying how the cartoon used The Jeffersons and Good Times as reference for 70's black comedy shows. Mrs. Avery, a character on the PJ's was voiced by Jan'et Dubois. She was hilarious. I wish that show remained on the air.

Loretta Devine was also a voice in it and she is rumoured to be Florida in the Good Times movie.

Wouldn't that be great? I would love to see her in that part. too bad Esther Rolle died. It would have been great to see her revive that roll and see her with a bunch of grand babies

I really loved The PJs too! it was very funny.

As I recalled, Bill Cosby didn't like that show either

Bill Cosby didn't like anything that portrayed blacks in a negative light. but cheating on your wife is okay, whether your black or white, rich or poor, etc.

I loved the PJ's. I used to tape the episodes but I don't know where they are now. I'm gonna see if I can buy them. I wish Eddie Murphy would bring them back.

I heard that. I wish I could see them again. I want them as soon as they are on DVD's. On the TRIO channel this cartoon was considered one of those shows that was BRILLIANT BUT CANCELLED. They had a marathon a couple of months ago. I wish to God I had taped them then!!!! DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!

I love the Proud Family, but they need some new episodes. I really love the funkadelic uncle.

I didn't think The PJ's was negative, just like Good times.

It was struggles in the projects for both shows.

I guessed Bill Cosby didn't want to see that REALITY on the shows.
