Who did you think was a better couple? Fred and Wesley or Fred and Gunn?

I personally liked the idea or Wesley and Fred, but Gunn and Fred were really sweet together. Well until the whole murder thingy.

From the episodes of Angel I watched, I would say Wesley and Fred made a better couple.

I never liked the whole Gunn and Fred together the 1st time around. I tried to watch it second time around. I still didn't like it. I thought it was awful. They didn't have the right chemistry. Gunn was better with Anne or Gwen.

So I have to say: WES and FRED all the way. They had the right chemistry.

It sucks for WES. He finally gets her close to the end of 5th Season and then he watches her die the next episode.

I have another reason why Gunn and Fred pairing is a terrible idea.

Gunn is an arrogant, liar, with crappy attitude toward Wes, does things that only benefits himself, and takes credit from other people.

In one of the episodes, Gunn lied to Wes and Angel that he didn't know who was doing the random demon killing? He knew. It was his old gang. Later on in the episode, Gunn's old gang went into Lorne's place and almost destroyed everything and almost cost... none other than... Fred's life and hurts the team in the process. Luckily, Wes was there to protect Fred.

In another episode, Gunn lies again to the team and try to take credit from someone else. Again, it had to do with none other than... Fred.

When Gunn kills the professor, did it benefit Fred or the professor or himself? It surely didn't benefit Fred because she couldn't get what she wanted. It benefited the professor because what it did was end the professor's suffering quickly. Again, Gunn is the problem.

Another episode, Gunn lies again and hurts the team and because of his selfish needs, and again Fred is the victim.

Every time Gunn lies, it seems that someone in the A.I. team is about to die or dies and hurts the team in the process. That's why this was a terrible idea for the pairing for Fred/Gunn. He's always the biggest problem for Fred from the start.

When Wes lies or.... betrays the team, when trying to the right thing, he takes full responsibility for it and does it to protect the team and protect the one he truly loves.
