I recall a case about a woman and her son in a boat/canoe/kayak. I think they were stopped for lunch on the shore when two men held them hostage, beating and raping the mother several times in the course of the day.
I think they showed sketches of the men. I always wondered how that poor mother and son were doing and if they ever caught those horrible criminals.

I found another post about this same case (posted on 10-30-04 by Justin 5256) but no one could recall the name of the woman. I want to say that she was a police officer/security guard, but I'm not sure.
