How long was it shown on the closing credits that Ralph Carter was courtesy of "Raisin"? I hope I typed that right ;)

I have been watching the year 3 dvd and it still makes mention of Raisin in the closing credits of the first few shows at least. Does this mean that he was still in the play while he was acting in Good Times or did he only do Raisin in the summers?

Raisin closed on Broadway in December 1975 so I guess it's possible he was still there during the early part of Good Times 3rd season though I wouldn't think he'd make weekly commutes from NY to Cali.

They did that because they bought him out of "Raisin" so that he could be on Good Times.

It wasn't. I just checked out the credits during Big Move part 2 and there's no mention of Raisin.
