Some of you may already be aware of this but David Calico, father of Tara Calico was murdered in 2002. I think by then however, he was already seperated/divorced from Tara's mom. The murder remains unsolved - Here is a short blurb
Nov. 2. APD. David Calico, 64, was ambushed by two men after he left an Albuquerque bar. Among the stole items were his nitroglycerine pills for his heart condition. He died at his home hours later. Calico was the father of Tara Calico of Belen, who was 19 when she disappeared in September 1988 while bicycling. Motive: robbery. Case status: OPEN.
