I have the season 1 DVD, but haven't watched it yet. Today, I was checking out the episode guide for season 1 and in it was a two part episode called "Retrospective." It was a clip show. A clip show? In the first season? That seems a little odd to me.

yep, the two part Retrospective is the token Christmas episode of season 1 (the show premiered on 11/3/1978 and yet this episode aired right before Christmas 1978!!! for crying out loud, it wasn't even two months old yet, lol). Mr. Drummond accidentally wakes the kids up on Christmas Eve and then Kimberly and Mrs. G come in and they share stories about the first 7 or 8 episodes and eat cake. Ironically it's one of the only edited episodes on the DVD, but it doesn't bother me because 90% of the episode is clips from other episodes we have complete on the DVD.
