I use to like this episode growing up, but after watching it on TVland recently, I no longer do. It just seems to "sitcommy" and outlandish to be believable. I mean, Penny's birth mom returns as a rich vixen who is bent on revenge. It just doesn't fly with me anymore.

So right you are Brian. When I seen this episode the first time it ran back in the 70's it was cool. Now looking at it again, it is so unbelievable.
