Today I was doing some image searches on the GI cast to see what I could find. I used the DVD boxes as a reference-----when I got to Natalie Schafer, they spelled it "Schaefer." Imagine my surprise when no pictures of her came up at all. Then I played one of the episodes and took the spelling off the opening credits, which was "Schafer," and, of course, found lots of pics.

I guess that Natalie "Schaeffer" must be one of the people who is in the documentary on the "B side of Disc 3"

How the hell does WB make these stupid mistakes? Even I, without any knowledge at all about filmmaking or putting a nice DVD set together, would do a better job of editing than WB did. It makes me mad, its like they didn't even take what they were doing seriously! Grr... I shall rant!

hehe, well at least I've got all the episodes though. :D

You know why "Shafer" was spelled wrong, and why the documentary is listed on Disc 3 Side B, instead on Disc 3 Side A? Because obviously the DVD wasn't made with the help of a hardcore GI fan, it was most likely made by some WB exec who has never even seen or heard of GI.

they should have hired all of us. I know that I would do it for nothing. All of use could include everything that we would like to see. And if I had my way I would create a whole new documentary that is actualy not crap. There would be nothing wrong with the discs and the box would go with the DVDs. I think they did a good job on the video and the sound but thats it. If they do put the reunion movies on DVD, which I doubt will happen I will send them some ideas and try to make a great set.
