I didn't like the sub plot of James and Mr. Buchanan trying to capture Diana's drug pusher I think it was too over the top. I also had problems with these things...

Diana shooting dope in Thelma's bedroom. (Why didn't she go to the bathroom where there is a lock instead of putting a chair by the door?)

James telling JJ that Diana is a junkie in front of Mr. & Mrs. Buchanan.

The Buchanans and the Evans letting the kid pusher just walk out the door and getting away without calling the police.

True. I see your points. As for them calling the police, we already know from many episodes, that the cops are "dumb" and/or they take forever to show up "in this neighborhood".

That may be so, but they are letting Diana's dealer get away. That made no sense to me.

Even if they would have dealt with the dealer in a lawful way, Diana would have found another. I see your point Brian, it's true. But in the real world, a junkie will go elsewhere.

It's true she would've gone elsewhere for her "fix", but as a father, Mr. Buchanan should've pasted that little man.
