I was in Boston in the summer of 1988 (to attend a Red Sox/White Sox game at Fenway Park in my last night in Beantown) and the station that showed it then had a Benny Hill back-to-back from 10 to 11 P.M. I remember seeing them on a Wednesday, and the syndicated episodes they showed were listed in the Benny's Place website as #75 and 96. The former had a takeoff of the British News At Ten as originally aired Dec. 22, 1971; the latter had a spoof of Cagney & Lacey as from April 16, 1986, and the sprawling "The Herd" from March 31, 1986. I also seem to remember two stations airing The Honeymooners: one had the Classic 39, the other the "Lost Episodes." Definitely the case with the Warner Bros. cartoons which, prior to Time Warner's acquisition of Turner, were in two camps: the pre- and post-1948 shows. A different station aired each set.
