"Michael gets suspended" Florida states she used to dream abt Errol Flynn. TV Land cut out Thelma's response. Florida would then have stated that back in those times, those were the only stars they had to look at. Words to the effect.

You know, what I don't understand is, for example, I love to watch I Love Lucy on TV Land so I could see what I don't see on regular television, but when they show the parts that other television stations don't show, they edit out something else. If there was enough time to show the entire episode of anything at one time, then why can't we see it now??? I hate this crap

TV Land edits and time compresses I Love Lucy. It's better to buy the DVDs.

The only good thing about TVLand is it is introducing GOOD TIMES to a new audience who might never have seen it before. For the true fans like us, the season DVDs is the ONLY way to go. LOL

Because TV LAND has to make room for commercials.

It is called $GREED$! TV Land wants more money from their lousy sponsors, so they squeeze on those horrible 200 year long commercials. When television channels edit they damage the prints or tapes as well. Someday it will really be hard to find full versions of certain older television shows. Look at the season sets of Alf and Too Close For Comfort. I don't own these, but a lot of people have griped that they are cut syndication episodes used on the DVD sets.

I can't even watch television hardly anymore. They show so many freakin' commercials and I think they all have been programmed with some subliminal message encoded in them telling you to go out and buy.. In this day of money and materialistic greed I wouldn't doubt it.

If there is a show or movie I want to watch I just watch the DVD or tape.
