I am curious as to what you all think abt the Evans' having received a telegram telling them abt the death of James. Isn't that odd? Shouldn't they have received a phone call? A telegram should be used in the Waltons, not Good Times. Also, what is it abt having a going away party and receiving telegrams? Was that some sort of custom or tradition? I don't get it. Surely there could have been a better way of breaking the news.
