It's pathetic how so many rappers are doing movies. LL Cool J, Run DMC, The Fat Boys, Will Smith, Ice Cube, Ice T were the first ones to do movies. Now every damn rapper wanna do movies hahahahahahahahahahahaha. When are they gonna realize acting isn't for everybody? Samuel Jackson even said he doesn't wanna do movies with rappers who haven't taken any acting classes. I don't blame him for saying that. These movie companies need to stop exploiting rappers thinking by putting a big name rapper in a movie that every black person is gonna see the movie & they're not.

They're getting shoe deals and crap now, too. Like what the hell? They aren't athletes. They don't need good shoes for when they work. It's getting ridiculous.

Once again, the answer most of the time is money.

Just the other day I saw an interview on one of the news stations with 50cent. He talked about all of the endorsements he has from jewelry to underwear. It's rediculous, but this is the world we live in.

I don't blame Samuel L. Jackson. He paid the price to get where he is today. Why should he want to work with these wanna be's who aren't in it because it's their passion. Acting is Samuel L's passion.

I love Ice T in Law& Order. Ice Cube aint funny to me. Mike Epps and Chris Tucker are funnier and better actors.

Rappers in movies are generally bad.

Terrible in fact.

Unless they are seasoned veterans like Ice Cube, most are just awful.
It's like taking anyone you know and throwning them into a movie- they are awkward, stiff, not believable, and flat.

Thank God most of the movies they are put in are crap that anyone can spot from a mile away.

I think Will Smith is a decent actor.

People from all categories, comedy, music, etc....try their talent in the movies. So what if the rappers try it. Some are good actors and some are bad just like anyone else. J-Lo and Jessica Simpson don't seem to have a problem with venturing into acting.
