Thought you might be interested in a couple of pics taken at the MGM Studios Backlot Tour in Orlando taken on our vacation in '95.
They have the Golden Girls and Empty Nest houses side by side. (It's a bit in dispute), but on the tour, they tell you that these facades were filmed for the shows. Even in real life, you'd never know they're fakes - especially with the landscaping that surrounds them.
