Hi. I am just wondering. How many maids did Maude go through on the show. If anyone could let me know that would be great, thanks.

I think there were only two, Florida Evans and Mrs. Naugatuck (sp?), though I seem to recall a latina housekeeper as well, who appeared briefly. That, however, may be my memory confusing this show with a character on "All in the Family." For the most part, I haven't seen "Maude" since it originally aired in the 1970s, so I mostly only have my memory to go on.

There were three maids on Maude. They were Florida Evans, Mrs. Nagatuk(sp), and one during the last season. She was black, and I think her name was Victoria Butterfield. I could be wrong about the name, but I'm certain their were three maids during the run of Maude.

Don't forget Conchata Farrell who appeared after Florida left, but briefly.

She was on one episode but she just interviewed for the position, she didn't get it though.

Victoria Butterfield is correct. That was the name of the 3rd housekeeper played by Marlene Warfield (don't know if she's related to Marsha Warfield)

She got it, but we just never saw her again.
