Wow, was that as bad as the Joan/Melissa Rivers fashion commentary on TGG S1 or what?

If you're talking about that Newsbeat segment, then yes, it was lame. But I liked the Eight Characters thing. The only thing missing was Mary. I wish she'd been in it.

Yeah thats it. The 8 Characters was very well done and 'Moore on Sunday', the mystery extra, (Kristen knows what I'm talking about lol), was very nice too. The other extras were all entertaining as well. The spoof thing was HILARIOUS and Ed's speech choked me up. When he said 'May you all have the pleasure of working with Mary Tyler Moore.', I almost cried. He said something before that like, 'And to all you young actors out there', but I don't remember the exact words.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't think the Newsbeat thing was that terrible. I thought Kate Asner had some funny moments - I actually laughed when she stole that woman's hat and ran off with it. It was also interesting to see what the landmarks shown in the opening and closing scenes look like now. Joan and Melissa were FAR worse, IMO.
