This morning when I was going to work, this cab driver that was to the right of me, somehow passed me and cut in front of me without signaling. I had to slam my breaks. I then got next to him and stuck my finger up at him. It was raining hard here too. This isn't the first time I had it out with a cabbie. One time I was driving on a main road and another cabbie was making a left turn, he really didn't have the right-of-way, so he drove out on the road, cutting my path off, forcing me to beep at his ass! Some of them drive like they don't have a license.

one time in DC...oh god, i was fearing for my life. the cab driver was on the cell phone, made a turn right in front of 3 lanes of traffic downtown.....eeeeee, i thought i was never going to make it to my hotel.

Well, its not totallly the cabbies fault...truth is, each cabbie is competing with the other drivers for calls ( thats how its set up, so customers wont have to wait )...So, some drivers tend to forget the traffic rules in order to get to the calls first, moreover, since these drivers make more money for the car owners, they get more of the work!!
I remember when i was driving cab ( brrrr horrible flashbacks coming ), it got to the point where id just wave certain other drivers ahead, not wanting them to force me off the road...AGAIN :eek:

ps, in the nearly 10 years i drove cab, i never got a ticket, or had an accident

I think Cab Drivers wanna get ya to your destination fast is what it is.....

I have taken cabs at night and they run all the lights,etc...... I wonder if they would do that during the day??

Also. Do UBER and LIFT drivers also run the lights?? (Something tells me they do not)
