I saw it on the GAC Forums where some of them posted about Bugs Bunny's birthday. As of right now, I will wish Bugs Bunny a very happy birthday!!! Bugs Bunny is 65 years old. His phrase "What's Up, Doc!" will always be remember his motto. It was on this date, June 27th 1940, Bugs made his first cartoon called "A Wild Hare". I have the cartoon taken from the movie "Bugs Bunny Superstar". Here is the picture.

Originally Bugs was just a nameless rabbit in Porkys hare hunt , the name Bugs came from WB animator "Bugs" Hardaway who did the first character model sheets...thus studio animators would refer to "Bugs' Rabbit" later the more musical sounding "Bugs' bunny"....and Eventually, that name was slightly altered to Bugs Bunny , the name hes had ever since !
