I find myself eating out everyday i come home from work because it's too damm hot to use the oven or stove. It's just more convient for me to pick up something on the way home. Anyone else eat out more during July and August?

Yep, on my lunch break I always run to get food and/or icecream. I'm going to end up looking like a cow.

We have a lot of cook-outs which are actually a lot of preparation. I haven't cooked much this summer. We eat out a couple of nights a week and we get takeout. I also go to a speciality/deli type store and buy prepared food. This store has everything, and it's all delicious.

I hear you on this. I am the same way. At work, we have lots of A/C going on that it's nice and fresh and easier to eat in the building as well as getting out for our hour lunch. By the time I get off work, drive 20 minutes to get home, turn on the A/C, it is soooo hot, so I lose my appetite to warm up food, especially the oven or stove top. so yeah, it's more convenient to pick up something prepared.

I had Wendy's today for lunch :D That's cause we had nothing to eat in the house, so after we went to Wendy's we went food shopping :lol:

I usually eat a lot less since the heat and humidity makes me lose my appetite - even with A/C on, I still aren't as hungry. I usually go through a million popsicles though. I think I eat the most in the Fall through to Christmas.

Eh....kind of. I go to Trader Joes and buy those ready made salads more often, just because I'm too lazy to do it myself. Besides, the air conditioner there is much, much more superb than ours. Plus, since it's the summer and there's no school, my friends and I are always getting together and eating and hanging out together. I really need to learn how to cook.

I actually eat out more in the winter/cold months. I find that food tastes better when its real cold and comfortable in restaurants. Plus there is nothing to do in the winter but eat out because it is either dark or too cold. In the summer when the pool is open to 11:00 PM, I am lucky if I eat dinner at Midnight.
