That was a funny show. Didn't we see it coming from James (his famous temper) after he found the book belonged to Thelma? JJ's dialogue cracked me up.

"If the book can't explain, I sure can't".

"He reads this, he won't be 11 long".

"If it wasn't for stuff like this, there wouldn't be a black community".

And why would Florida accuse JJ after he told her numerous times that it wasn't his. I like how she got Willona told: "James and I been married for 18 years and I've got news for you. James don't need any instructions". I guess James was blowing Flo's mind in bed.

I always loved Florida's expression when she read the name on the notebook. After all she didn't let her kids view R rated movies.

That was a funny show, especially the turnaround James does when he realizes the book is Thelma's and not JJ's. Then he can't help but gloat a little when the book mentions the prescence of a strong father in the family. Wasn't that Philip Michael Thomas playing the boyfriend??

Yes. He went by "Phillip Thomas" on the end credits.

I just watched that episode again today (I took the 1st season DVD set out of the library). I cracked up all over again when James was preening about the "strong father figures". I also loved the pink dress Thelma wore, I'd like to have a dress like that myself!! :D
