Did anyone hear that Golden Palance will be on Lifetime? I forgot what day and time it will start, but I saw the commercial. I really don't care for it because there is no Dorothy.

Im excitied for Golden Palace on lifetime, unfortunalty the commerical says it will only be on for a limitied time. I have been watching GG for years on lifetime now and it will be nice to see Golden Palace. When I found out there was this show I was sad that I would probably never get to see it, but finally its coming to lifetime. It will be nice to see this show, even thought many say it isnt as good, I still would like to see it, just to see more of Blanche, ROse and Sophia and some new stories. I will definalty be taping every episode.

Do you think Lifetime will chop out the usual three minutes like they do with the GG? I swear TV is getting to be more and more the pits, but I'm glad that Lifetime did choose to air this show. I'm looking forward to it since I didn't really get the chance to view it the first time around.

Well this is my first time seeing them so I'm excited.. I'll tape every episode! I just hope that I won't forget to watch the show which I'm notorious for doing!

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the same without Bea Arthur. Bea brought the series down to earth with her droll wit. She really brought those actresses together as a group.

When shows try to continue on without a key member of the ensemble (Welcome Back, Kotter, Designing Women, etc. ), it usually doesn't work.

No, The Golden Palace only aired from 1992-1993. It never showed in this country until now.
