I remember that it was very hard for me to watch George Jefferson get stabbed in a alley. I think that moment stand out the most.

The last episode of Dinosaurs, when everyone died because the world froze up (I think). That was depressing, especially since mostly kids watched the series.

I remember the Gimme A Break episode that dealt with the Chief's death (as the actor, Dolph Sweet, died in the summer of 1985) was kinda sad when I was a kid. Mrs. Garrett leaving Facts Of Life was also kinda sad for a six year old who had watched the show since diapers.

I also will admit that when I was 9, I cried at the Family Ties finale when Alex leaves home.

I am a lot better these days, I was really upset when Buffy and Sex And The City ended, but I never cried, although I will admit to crying at the end of Friends, lol. Probably because the show had been on so long that it just seemed so weird to see them go finally.

I've never had a lot of difficulty watching television.

However, even though I wasn't alive when Edith's attempted rape episode on All In The Family aired, I still and will always have trouble watching that episode in re-runs. I must say though, the studio audience reaction in that episode is perhaps the best studio audience reaction I've ever seen.

All In The Family had a lot of dark moments in general.
