Yeppers it was Henry, I love that episode, and to see Hawkeye that way was weird because he never cries.

Henry said that's what they taught him in command school. He was consoling Hawkeye after his friend died- the guy writing a book entitled "You Never Hear The Bullet".

And then, Hawkeye went and finked on Richie Cunningham, to prevent one young man from possibly dying in one war.

And yes, it was Henry.
