Freddie Prinze Jr. woke up with a cracked rib Wednesday morning - and he has no idea how it happened.

The Hollywood actor is currently in New York City promoting his upcoming sitcom Freddie, and he was taken aback when he struggled to get out of bed because he was in such dire pain.

He says, "I have a cracked rib... I don't even know how it happened. I woke up and I just couldn't breathe."

Actor FREDDIE PRINZE JR has had to ban young female fans from the set of his new sitcom FREDDIE - because they hiss at his co-star BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN whenever their characters have a row.

The show, which is set to debut in the US next week (begs10OCT05), has drawn hoards of Prinze Jr's admiring fans, but created problems when bosses want the audience to laugh.

He says, "We have like a rule and I feel bad saying this, but we couldn't have like young, young girls there because they're not coming to the sitcom to laugh, they're coming to (see me). Like, young girls don't have posters of RICHARD PRYOR up on their walls, they got pictures of like (me).

"So anytime anybody says anything it's like 'Aah.' Brian and I on the show are like two guys trying to talk trash about each other so we can get this one girl.

"And anything Brian said they like hated him because he was he was trying to make me look bad in front of this woman... They started hissing like snakes in bags."

Sorry to bring this up, but geez...even if Jr. says "like" that often, do they have to publish every one of them? LOL! Nothing makes a person sound less intelligent! He is no longer a teenager (the only people who might have an excuse for saying it soooo much)--he needs to be conscious of how often he says it!

I've been seeing Jr. on a buncha talk shows promoting the new sitcom, and he didn't seem that inarticulate anytime I saw him.

I watched the segment of Freddie Jr on GMA about his new sitcom during work.... SHHHH;) Anyhow.. I was excited to see Jr talk about his show and his mother Katherine. I could see so much of Sr in him it was scarey. If I remember correctly Freddie Jr is going to tribute his father at the end of the show.. Get your VCR's or DVR's ready to go!

I am still in touch with several of the Jr high students i used to do day care for and 'Like and I'm like' is and has been a favorite phrase among them for sometime, and while i really like Jr and i am so happy for him with his success i have to admit i hate hearing 'i'm like' or like all the time.
It's one of those things that become a habit and you don't even realize you are doing it, i have caught myself doing it, but i agree it is annoying.

Jr was just on Jimmy Kimmel. He didn't mention Freddie but di mention spending time with his grandma who is portrayed in the show. Mentioned how his grandma always said when you talk to God you talk to him in Spanish. They said he was following in his dads footsteps when they announced him. This was to promote the new show...

i can't wait to see it and i hope he does pay tribute to his Dad
