GCW 07-23-2005, 11:55 PM Yeah I just saw it. TVFactFan 07-24-2005, 10:17 AM What a great episode this is. Florida swinging the baseball bat at the Warlords was a classic tv moment. That was defintely a TV moment because in real life, those 4 guys would have defintely gotten that baseball bat away from Florida-lol hatwink 08-27-2005, 01:54 PM Michael, despite the great wisdom, wasn't all that tough. Brieannas21 08-27-2005, 04:27 PM Michael, despite the great wisdom, wasn't all that tough. It's hard to take on 4 boys at once and plus Michael was short so it wouldn't have taken much to knock him over LOL. Ireneparalegal 08-27-2005, 04:29 PM Michael, despite the great wisdom, wasn't all that tough. He had brains, maybe not physical strength, but your brain goes a long way with education. Physical strength only goes so far. I'd rather have a conversation with a brain, than one who thinks his muscles are in his arms. Florida swinging the baseball bat at the Warlords was a classic tv moment. I love this episode for two reasons: 1. Florida reminded me of my mother, because my mom would have been swing that bat too! and 2. This is the episode with Reginald T. Dorsey! :loveya: :eyes:  GeorgeWBushGOP 08-27-2005, 06:34 PM In real life Michael would have stayed a warlord and Florida wouldn't have stepped foot in their lair. If she did she would have been either raped , murdered, or both. Ireneparalegal 08-27-2005, 06:39 PM In real life Michael would have stayed a warlord and Florida wouldn't have stepped foot in their lair. Give me a break, sometimes you have to take a chance, when you are trying to defend your child things like that don't enter into your mind, and besides the junior warlords probably only thought in terms of scaring and intimindation and hadn't been taught by the senior warlord about other ways of violence, and she had the upper hand because she had the bat. JMO!!! JMO!!! I totally agree, I'll kick some ass when it comes to my kid. Especially when it comes to gangs, I wouldn't care if you were 14 or 40. Ireneparalegal 08-27-2005, 06:51 PM Do you have kids George? GeorgeWBushGOP 08-27-2005, 07:05 PM Do you have kids George? No. So it is the boards opinion that Florida would have wound up raped or beat up then defending her son? Jrnygrl 08-27-2005, 07:33 PM No. So it is the boards opinion that Florida would have wound up raped or beat up then defending her son? No because these were a bunch of punk wannabe's!!! I think they would have been frightened by the fact that someone stood up to them. So I think it would have turned out the way it did, besides Flo had God on her side. Ireneparalegal 09-02-2005, 02:13 PM What was amazing was that the remaining three members didn't gang up on Florida after Michael and that other dude were fighting. If they were experienced, they knew what to do. These were the junior warlords and they were not that experienced. Sure they could have beaten up Florida or ganged up on Michael, but we are dealing with juveniles who were looking up to the Warlords and probably didn't know the ins and outs of being or representing a gang. It was alot of talk, just a little bit of action. they had succeeded in putting some kids in the hospital, but they had yet to master the "art" of beating up an adult. JMO nerrad 09-02-2005, 02:22 PM It was funny seeing the leader snapping his finger at one to answer the door.
