Just so you know, deliberately misleading posts of information can get you suspended or banned from this site.

You are hardly one with credentials or any track record on SO.

If you are going to make claims like this you better back it up.

Well, did anybody uncover any proof yet?

WARNER BROTHERS HAVE SAID THAT IT WAS NOT ON THEIR DRAWING BOARD TO RELEASE ALICE, ALTHOUGHT I WOULD LIKE TO RELEASED. IF THIS IS A JOKE IT WAS NOT EVEN WORTH THE EFFORT. IF IT WAS NOT THEN WARNER BROTHERS HAVE CHANGED THEIR MINDS

Actually, I e-mailed Warner Bros. about a week before this thread was started and was told "thank you for your inquiry, but we do not have a release date for this title, and your suggestion would be passed along to the higher-ups "or whoever. Too bad I deleted the e-mail.

Hiya Gang...

Sorry if this is redundant, however, I have found another place where voting MAY get us the MOST desired Alice results, the show on DVD...

I have spent some time reading some posts and I believe the show WKRP can be voted for there as well as Lou Grant, St. Elsewhere and Hill Street Blues

It is from REPUTABLE retailer Amazon.com

They say something like to have us let the studios know you'd like this title submit your email address....

This link below is a link to vote for Alice :) Just click on Alice (1976)...for you folks who are Empty Nest fans I THINK that one is available to vote like this too...

I'm for ANY way in letting the studios KNOW we WANT our favorites even if the prices must be a bit higher...

and BEFORE we lose more cast members who can't do retrospectives on the sets...

Anyway, hope that helps everyone...

Keith

This whole thread was started by a troll, so it is best to ignore it until an official announcement is made.

IS THIS ALICE FROM THE BRADY BUNCH?
No this is the television show Alice which starred Linda Lavin.

Please stop trying to defeat the profanity filter. And, no, I CANNOT state my source, or it could blow the deal.

Let me make a few suggestions:

First, don't come here with all of 21 posts and tell people what to do, people who have been here for years. You have a problem with a post report it to a moderator.

Second of all, stop starting rumors about a DVD release when you have no proof other than your "source".

And don't insult us also with stating that you posting the source on this board could prevent Alice from being released.

That is ludicrous.

Please stop trying to defeat the profanity filter. And, no, I CANNOT state my source, or it could blow the deal. Let me give you an off-topic example. There's a new wrestling company called TNA. It was to air on a Canadian sports channel called TSN, but no announcement had been made. Someone got wind that the show would be airing on TSN, and mentioned exactly when it would air and the day and time it would air. He gave this away on a radio show. The deal fell through as a result. So, no, as an "Alice" fan, I'm not going to divulge this information. I have wanted this show on DVD for years, and I'm not going to let people here ruin the DVD release for everyone.

Because this Jeek character keeps trying to put his original post after mine, in which I quote him.

So he keeps deleting his original and reposting it.

It does not change the fact that he has no proof of anything he says.

You're doing the same thing with your posts, so grow up. And, as I have stated, an announcement regarding the Alice DVD release is forthcoming, and that's all I'm at liberty to divulge.

You are the one acting like a jerk, putting the original post out of order.
For what purpose is that but to mislead?
You should grow up.

What are you, like 15?

Give me a break, and you CANNOT post "oh I have a source" and tell people that DVDs are coming out when it is not verified.

It's a load as far as I'm concerned and the moderators don't like uncorroborated stories.

Why did you delete your post and re-post it several times over the last hour and a half? And, you ask if I'M 15?! As for my post, I will repeat what I've said. I CANNOT divulge anything further than what I already have. If the moderators or anyone else has a problem with it, that's too bad. I'm not going to let this "Alice" DVD deal go by the wayside. In January, when the "Alice" DVDs are in stores, come back to this thread and tell me my post is B.S. Until then, refrain from posting in this thread. Thanks.

First off- I posted my response to your post.

THEN YOU DELTED YOUR POST AND POSTED IT AFTER MINE.

I was putting things in the right order. If I was a moderator of this board I would have prevented you from continuing to put your post out of order.
Sorry I want to keep things in their proper place- what is your motivation except to be a pain in the ass ?

And listen pal, I will post anywhere I damn please.

And why don't you refrain from posting about the release of Alice until there is an official word. Or you just might see "suspended" or "banned" next to your name.

Watch your language, please. We have youngsters that visit the board. You weren't putting things in the right order. It wouldn't have mattered if my post came after yours. You just wanted the last word. When the DVDs come out in January, you'll owe me a HUGE apology.

Jeek,

I'm the News/DVD coordinator for this website. If you do have information on this set and can't reveal, please email me. I have contacts everywhere, so I will confirm your "claim" if it is true or not. As far as I know, Warner Bros. had no plans of releasing this series on DVD, as they stated to us in a chat a few months back with Home Theater Forum.

As I've said, if I divulge my source, the DVD deal will fall through. In January, though, everyone will be pleased when the DVDs come out.

Just because you tell me 'privately' the DVD deal is not going to fall through. It is hard to believe you are telling the truth when you say things like this.
