I've had plenty of teeth yanked out in the OR. They were too deep in my gums to extract in the doctor's office.

I've also had tubes put in my ears, my tonsils out, a broncoscopy and an endoscopy [sp?]

I only had my wisdom teeth out, which the dentist calls "minor surgery". I wasn't even put to sleep for it- just numbed in the area.

I had gall bladder surgery when I was only 24 years old. That was a long long time ago! Well let me tell you that a gall stone attack is even worse than labor pains! I was SO glad to have that sucker removed! I had never experienced such a long continuing pain in my life! Ouch!

Tonsils, sinuses and ears, eyes, and a laproscopy. Other than that, just minor stuff - inserting a pin into the bone of my middle right finger (torn tendon), wisdom teeth, and cysts and a small cancer removed.

I had tubes put in my ears in 1997.

Jaw surgery (I'll never do that again), Wisdom Teeth removed, a couple benign moles removed. That's about it.

What kind of surgery did they do for your jaw? They broke my bottom jaw, moved it forward, and inserted screws.

Just wisdom teeth. I forsee knee surgery in my future though. I can't see them getting better. My patella has never been in the right place.

The only major surgery was when I had my tonsils removed at 2½.

I've had four moles removed -- one was in 1996 and the rest were in 2000. They were really irritating me. I foresee a few more moles removed in the near future.

Me too. If for no other reason than pure vanity.

Nope, never have. :)

I have had some hospital proceedures done, but I don't know that they'd be classified as surgery, maybe they would.

i've had arthroscopic surgery on my knees three times, had my stomach pumped a couple of times, minor stuff like broken fingers and stiches more than fifty times, once had to have metal slivers cut out of my cornea in one eye and had to have one finger sewn back on after cutting it almost entirely off with an electric carving knife as a kid...
