I've been looking for a permanant job for several months now- well, again thsi isn't a permanant one just yet,lol, but it'll last about 2 months, which is pretty good.

I'll be working in customer service taking phone calls for a company called BuyCostumes.com. They are the largest company in the world that that sells or distrubutes halloween costumes. I got the job through a staffing place. I'm really excited because we got to take a tour of where we'll be working today and I'll get my own desk in a cubicle and a computer! I've always wanted a desk job since all my other jobs before have been stand on your feet all day or food service! I don't know when I'll start- mid August at the earliest. It all depends on how busy they are with orders/calls. It'll be part time M-F and mandatory Saturdays in the month of October since they get like thousands of phone calls and orders that month.

I know it will be a little hard since people who call most of them will have some complaint or be mad but they said it's a fun job because you're dealing with halloween costumes, not something really boring. Until the end of Sept. I'll still be working my job at the Brewers, too, so some day I'll be at this job during the day and work a night game the same night!

Just remember the magic question: "What can I do to fix this for you?"

It should calm them down, and it'll throw the ball into their court.

yeah i started my permanent job this past monday, after months of endless searching and its going pretty sweet so far, + they just bought me a brand new state of the art apple mac for me to use + yesterday was a nice easy day went to the pub at 1pm and stayed there till 6pm lol with the boss and free drinks :D

My stepmom owns and operates a party supply store out here...so they sell Halloween costumes, and her store sells the most Halloween costumes of any place in the city. Fun stuff...I have always helped them every year with getting ready for the Halloween rush. :)
