Pav that's not a marathon, just a 3 hour block of 227. a marathon is all day long. For a minute I thought TV ONE was battling TV LAND to see who would watch Good times or 227 this weekend. But since 227 is only on for 3 hours, there will not be a battle.

No, a marathon does not have to be all day. More than two hours is consisted of being a marathon. A block is a regular programming that airs the same amount of time and is sort of a regular thing, such as the Bonanza and Gunsmoke block on the weekends on TV Land. I should know, I've been doing TV schedules for many years now. TV One can't battle TV Land. TV One is not in many homes as TV Land, and TV One is not ad supported, nor do they report their ratings.

I'll check out an episode or two.

I know that's an ironical show on TV One.

Hey, Pav. I do appreciate you keeping the board updated with info. I am dissppointed that TV One pulled the show from its sched after only one year and they keep Good Times. 227 should continue on the regular basis.

I am sorry but I missed the 227 Marathon on August 20, 2005.

I caught glimpses of it.. TV one always seems to air the boring eps...
