I never thought I'd ever find a website about the tv show Silver Spoons. I was really young when the show first came out, I was like three years old. I had a huge crush on Ricky. I really didn't know what the name of the show was til about a year ago. I saw this show on VH1 called Where Are They Now, and they said that Whitney Houston guest
starred on the show, and I recognized Ricky. So then, I got on the internet to see if I could find any websites about Silver Spoons, but nothing came up. Then last Monday, I saw Ricky on the music awards, I thought maybe I'd find something on just him. But I forgot all about it, til now. I decided to try one more time to see if I could find anything
about the show Silver Spoons, and here I am now! (smiles). I'm now 20yrs old, and I still think that Ricky is a babe (laughs).

Wow! I had the EXACT experience. I had just gotten the internet and was excited to look up all these different stars, but NOTHING could be found on Ricky Shroder!! Today is the VERY first time I have EVER found information about him. Wow!! What memories to see the cast photo when they were all so much younger!! I still have those "crush"-like feelings about Ricky even though I'm 25 years and married!! Gosh he's such a babe!! I can't believe he got married at 21 years and is STILL married with 3 kids. Doesn't seem to happy much with being so young at the time

My friends and I at work have a lot of free time and it is usually surrounding TV shows and movies. I found a picture of 'The Ricker' in a recent people magazine with him and his 3 children. I jokingly referred to them as my children and we started reminiscing about the show. The topic of the theme song came up and we couldn't think of all the words, so I said I'd 'look for it on the net'... and thought it would take FOREVER to find. NOPE! Found it on my first web search of Silver Spoons - now I've got the tune in my head! (grr http://sitcoms.digihosting.com/ubb/smile.gif)

I'm right with you girls. When the show came out I was around three also. But I do remember actually watching the show. Maybe it was in syndication or something, but I too
had the hugest crush on him. I recall being totally in love with him and Fred Savage. It seems kinda lame now, but I watch the reruns of Silver Spoons (and the Wonder Years) and remember my cute little crushes.(He really was a cutie).Anyway, the show is still great after all these years and I've even started watcing NYPD Blue once rick joined the cast.
