Bo and Billie go to Jack and Jennifer's house searching for Chelsea and Max as Max never came home last night. Frankie knows how to track down his brother. He finds out Max used his credit card at a motel. Max serves Chelsea breakfast in bed and it looks like they had a very romantic night. Chelsea says she will never accept Bo and Billie as her parents and wants to run away with Max. Max doesn't think that's a good idea. Chelsea goes to take a shower and Max opens the door to fuming Bo and Billie. Bo attacks him and Max must defend himself and says he slept on the floor last night and did not take advantage of Chelsea. Chelsea says she wants nothing to do with them nor does she ever want to see them again. Lucas asks Roman for Sami's hand in marriage. Roman refuses, unless Lucas promises he'll never hurt Sami again. Lucas makes a fervent vow. Roman shakes his hand and gives his blessing. Sami uses Roman's computer to get the Intel on Tony's prison transfer. Sami accuses Kate of plotting to stop her from marrying Lucas. Just then, Lucas, Roman and Will enter and lash out at Kate. Sami uses the distraction to get the info on Tony's prison transfer. Will almost catches her, but Sami covers. Sami passes the information on to a disguised Bart outside Alice's. Roman reveals to Detective Marc Adams that the info on his computer was bogus. He has a plan to fake out DiMera and anyone who is working for him. Hope visits Patrick to get news about Bo and Billie. Hope wonders if Jennifer is developing feelings for Frankie, but Jennifer insists Jack's the only man for her. Frankie gets a call with information on Lockhart. After he hangs up, Frankie calls Patrick a lying bastard.

I don't believe for one second that Jack is going to die. When Jacks' storyline almost comes to an end, he'll make a miraculous(sp) recovery. The writers' won't kill Jack off, no way!!! If they do, I'll be in shock.

John confronts Marlena and Alex regarding their kiss. John relays information to Marlena that Alex's techniques are potentially dangerous. Despite his belief that Marlena needs to leave Alex and come home to her family, Marlena digs her heals in and says that she's not going anywhere. Chloe and Sami's bridal shower, as well as Brady and Lucas's bachelor party, are in full swing. Victor congratulates Brady and is even supportive of Lucas's choice, giving them both some money. Chelsea makes friends with Kate to get a job. Chelsea gloats to Abby that she's cashing in on her new family, and that Hope and Bo's marriage is doomed. Chelsea gives Bo a hug, and Billie and Hope don't know what to make of this new behavior. Roman tells Bo that the fake plans that Tony's minions got from the computer will pay off when they capture some of his gang. Roman runs into Kate and lays into her about Sami. Kate ends up crying in Victor's arms. Bart disguised as a stripper, stalks Sami. Brady takes Chloe home but she is still unnerved by her bandaged face. Philip is off to get his new leg while Shawn and Mimi bond. Belle witnesses this and can't help but be jealous. Philip leaves and Belle is hit with a wave of pain.

The joint bridal shower for Chloe and Sami takes place at Alice's and the joint bachelor party for Brady and Lucas is also going on. Chloe is still fearful that when her bandages come off, her scars won't have healed. Belle tries her best to reassure her. Bo and Hope discuss the situation with Billie and Chelsea. Hope cautions Bo to be careful and wary as she doesn't trust Billie and is suspicious of Chelsea. Chelsea realizes "Grandma" Kate is rich and runs Basic Black while her mother Billie founded Countess Wilhelmina. She decides to make the most of this golden opportunity and tells Abby this may be even better than winning the lottery. Shawn and Mimi continue to bond as they work the parties at Alice's, but Shawn keeps staring at Belle. Sami and Caroline talk about her failed attempts at marriage. Bart arrives (disguised as a stripper) and wants Sami to reassure him nothing has changed in regards to Tony's prison transfer so he can escape. Sami assures him it hasn't. The men all bond and celebrate Brady and Lucas's upcoming nuptials, as well as the fact that Philip and Belle are going to have a baby. Victor warns Lucas to make sure he's not making a mistake marrying Sami. John and Roman are both worried that no one's heard from Marlena. John's beginning to think leaving her alone in the cabin with Dr. North was a mistake. Roman blames John and the tension between them continues to escalate. Alex continues to lull Marlena into a sense of security and dependence through a warm massage. He informs her he wants to hypnotize her to try to help her remember her past. Marlena is hesitant, but Alex convinces her. He offers her herbal tea and secretly drugs it. When he puts her under, he tells her to remember the man she loves. Marlena remembers a time with Alex and they come together in a kiss as John walks in.

John tries to convince Marlena to come home with him and she refuses as she wants to stay with Alex. John appeals to her, telling Marlena that Brady and Sami need her at their weddings - not to mention Belle is expecting their grandchild. Conflicted Marlena tells John that, although she has no memory of any of this, she knows that she needs to be there for her children. Alex surprises Marlena by telling her that he thinks she should go and promises to be there for her. Marlena won't leave without Alex. Sami, enticing Lucas with a sexy striptease, is caught in a compromising position by Will and his friend, Arthur. She runs into her room while Lucas gets rid of them. Sami comes face to face with Bart on her fire escape. Sami promises that she did everything that she could and Tony will be a free man. Lucas nearly catches her with Bart but she distracts him. Belle experiences cramps and Mimi and Shawn are there to help. Lexie checks Belle and defines the cramps as due to stress. Mimi lays into Belle and tells her that she's using her unborn baby to manipulate Shawn and it's time it stopped. Chloe nearly gets cold feet but finds Brady outside her door, watching over her. She talks to Nancy and reiterates that she fears she will be the one to let Brady down. Nancy soothes her fears and Chloe kisses a blindfolded Brady, confident the wedding will go off the next day.

Marlena has returned home but insists that Alex stay with her. John enlists Kate's help to figure out what Alex North's hidden agenda could be. Roman arrives and announces that he and Kate are getting divorced. Marlena thinks maybe she and John should also split, since she was pregnant with Roman's baby. John won't hear of it and even Alex suggests that now isn't the time to make major life decisions. As they head off for Brady's wedding, Marlena insists on driving with Alex. Brady gets ready for his big day. Though not allowed to see the bride, he sends her flowers and gifts. Chloe is deeply touched but has a nightmare that her face is permanently and hideously scarred. Belle dreams of kissing Shawn, and downstairs on the sofa, Shawn has the same dream. Mimi comes in, upset that Shawn slept over at Belle's. Shawn tells Mimi he was just worried about Belle after the cramps she had last night. John wants to sit with Marlena at the wedding, so Brady's going to ask Shawn to fill in as best man. Belle insists she just wants Brady and Chloe to have a happy wedding and it is fine. Sami, Lucas and Will prepare for Brady and Chloe's wedding. Sami is excited that her wedding will soon follow. Sami demands all the evidence that she was Stan. Bart agrees to Sami's request, but only after Tony is free. Roman, Abe and Tek prepare to trick Tony and foil the escape attempt. Bart listens in, but they are wise to the bug he planted.

On her wedding day, Chloe worries if her scars have healed in time. Dr. Travis comes to examine her and nervous Nancy tells Chloe to get dressed. Nancy confides in Craig that Chloe won't tell her what the doctor said and she is afraid Chloe has cold feet. Nicole is lurking at the church, desperate to stop the wedding. Sami refuses to help her, confident that all the Stan evidence will soon be destroyed. Victor catches Nicole with Kate and throws Nicole out of the church. Tension rises as the service starts. Veiled Chloe marches down the aisle, Craig gives her away and there is a huge moment as Brady lifts her veil… Bart shows up at Tony's cell disguised as a guard. Roman, Abe and Tek try to stay one step ahead but Tony doesn't make it easy for them. Tony and Bart escape through the sewer. Roman and the cops show up while Tony and his minions make a desperate attempt to escape. There is a shoot-out, Roman captures Tony, but Bart escapes. Tony tells Roman he may have defeated his archenemy, but he also just destroyed the life of someone Roman loves dearly. Sami is at the wedding thinking Tony must have escaped by now and she can look forward to a perfect future with Lucas. Chelsea tries to assimilate into the Brady, Reed, and Kiriakis families. Patrick and Billie stay close and hope Chelsea gets the message that he is off-limits to her. Bo is angry that Lockhart is there with Billie, and so is Chelsea. Marlena doesn't remember Sami, Will, or Belle. John tries to get Alex to drop Marlena's case, but Dr. North says that decision is up to the patient. John hopes the wedding will stir Marlena's memory. Belle and Shawn are ready for their jobs as matron of honor and best man. Even though they say there's no problem, they fantasize about marrying each other at the altar.

On Chloe and Brady's wedding day, Brady lifts the veil and all can see that Chloe's face is perfect. Bonnie continues to push Mimi in Shawn's direction. Belle faints and Shawn is instantly drawn to her. Brady and Chloe say I do and are finally married. Marlena becomes upset and John tries to comfort her. Alex isn't happy about this but there's not a whole lot that he can do. Marlena rushes away from John and Belle goes after her. John warns Alex that if anything happens to Marlena, Belle or their unborn grandchild, he will hold North personally responsible. Roman is working on Tony's case with Tek trying to connect the dots, while Kate tries to connect the dots to Sami's involvement. Roman and Kate exchange words over Sami. Chelsea lays into Billie and Patrick offers to mediate on their behalf. He invites Billie to go to the reception with him. Kate finds Nicole crying and surprisingly, comforts her. Kate again offers Nicole a deal for information about Sami, but Nicole can't do it. After Kate leaves her alone, Victor finds Nicole and locks her in a room. Caroline enters and Nicole knocks her out, thinking she's one of Victor's goons. Caroline comes to, lets her out of the bride's room and tells Nicole to run otherwise Victor may kill her.

It is the reception after Chloe and Brady's wedding. As the happy couple enjoys their new life together, Nicole continues to stalk them. She runs into Nico, and Victor gives him the order to eliminate her. Nicole tries to run to Chloe and Brady but she doesn't make it and is recaptured. John has it out with Alex about Marlena. Alex seems to convince John to put aside his own fears and do what's best for Marlena. Marlena gives Belle some honest advice, saying that there is no wrong choice except not to make a choice. Marlena meets with Alex and invites him to dance, which doesn't please John. Mimi goes to the reception with Shawn but witnesses him talking with Belle. He asks Belle if she's still in love with him. Bo and Hope monitor Chelsea, who asks Patrick to dance in exchange for her being nice to Billie. Bo sees this and is not happy. Hope urges him to stay out of it. After Chelsea hugs Patrick, Bonnie wonders why Patrick looks like he is into Chelsea. Roman, Abe and Tek think they have a lead on one of DiMera's operatives. They find a picture of Sami in disguise as Tony's lawyer but can't see her face. At the reception, Sami and Lucas dance and Roman cuts in. Sami learns Tony never escaped. Chloe and Brady celebrate their love with a dance. It looks like Jack and Jennifer may dance, but Jack hurts his ankle and Jennifer is forced to dance with Frankie. Lexie asks Jack when he's going to come clean about his fatal disease and Abby asks her father why he's pushing Frankie into her mom's arms

Brady thanks Victor for the wedding and Caroline offers the couple a thought from an old love letter that came from Victor. Victor learns Nicole has love letters from Brady that she plans to use to break up Brady and Chloe. Brady assures him the letters won't do any harm. Shawn is thrilled when he realizes Belle still loves him. His elation is short lived when Belle tells him it doesn't matter as she's staying with Philip. Chloe throws the bouquet, which, with a push from Bonnie, Mimi catches. When Brady throws the garter, Bonnie pushes Shawn into its path and he catches it. The two dance together, making Belle jealous. Bonnie "works" Shawn to get closer to Belle. Mimi confronts Belle and accuses her of not wanting to let go of Shawn. Sami is worried sick having heard from Roman that Tony escaped and was recaptured. She's terrified people will discover she was Stan. Kate is aware of Sami's nerves and becomes increasingly suspicious. Will is concerned as well, since he notices Sami doesn't seem happy. When Roman learns that a case full of disguises has been found, Sami faints clean away into Lucas's arms. John and Marlena dance together to Alex's displeasure. Marlena has a memory of being in John's arms. Bo confronts Patrick about the hug and his spending time with Chelsea. Hope wants Bo to leave Patrick alone. Chelsea is nice to Billie for Patrick's sake and Billie is heartened that things may work out for them after all. Patrick, sick of Bo's dirty looks, leaves with Billie. Chelsea has a close and personal dance with Max and then suggests they pick up where they left off on the beach. Jennifer is still suspicious that something's going on with Jack and pressures Frankie to tell her what he knows. Frankie says he will tell her the truth about her husband. Abby is worried that Jennifer is spending too much time with Frankie and wonders why Jack seems to be pushing her away. Jack assures her that he'll always be there for her, no matter what.

John is convinced that Marlena has remembered her love for him. But before she can confirm, Jack collapses and John goes to help. While he's gone, Alex uses the talisman to regain control of Marlena. Marlena goes home with Alex, leaving John in pain. Jack refuses to see a doctor. Lexie tells Jack how long and painful his death will be. Jack tells Lexie he's going to commit suicide. Jennifer is determined to be optimistic but she cries on Frankie's shoulder. As Lexie tells Jennifer what's in Jack's future, Frankie and Jack bond over their common love for Jennifer. Shawn and Mimi return home and hear Belle and Philip's baby crying. Belle is in the grips of her postpartum depression and Philip can't snap her out of it. Shawn volunteers to take the baby home with him and Mimi so Philip can attend to Belle. Mimi is secretly terrified of being with the baby. Shawn apologizes for volunteering to help with the baby, but Mimi insists she can handle it. Belle privately wonders why she seems to have everything she ever wanted but just isn't happy.

Sami and Nicole argue when Nicole catches her daydreaming and Sami refuses to do her work. Austin breaks it up saying that if they can't work together, he'll fire them both. Sami admits that she was feeling down, thinking of Lucas and how he told her that he loves her. Sami decides to go see Lucas. Austin and Nicole bond and Nicole intuits that Austin's come home to Salem for an old love. Although he doesn't say it, Nicole thinks it's her that he's talking about. Austin dodges the question yet invites her to dinner. Sami finds Lucas comforting Will because his friends dressed up as Sami's alter-ego Stan for Halloween. Sami gives Lucas a kiss to remember. Shawn and Mimi take care of Belle and Philip's baby but Mimi is uncomfortable. Shawn offers to get her help to talk about her abortion as well as her inability to have kids. Shawn takes a shower and leaves Mimi alone with the baby. The baby begins to cry and Mimi freaks. Shawn swoops in to save the day, but Mimi ends up passing out. Philip attempts to take care of Belle during her postpartum depression. He catches her about to take more of her medication and he is afraid of what might happen if she takes too much. He draws her bath and she says some pretty revealing things to an image/hallucination of Shawn. She dissolves into tears in Philip's arms and it's unclear whether it was Shawn's image or the real Philip who heard her confessions.

After a searing kiss, Sami thinks she and Lucas still have a chance but Lucas is against it. Will thinks that if his parents still love each other, they should give it another try. Lucas thinks it's best to cut his losses. Sophie arrives and takes Lucas out on a date. Outside Chez Rouge, Sami runs into a woman who advises her to move on. Sami takes the woman's advice to heart. She sees Austin with Nicole and is not happy. Austin and Nicole enjoy themselves and bond over dinner. Lucas arrives at Chez Rouge with Sophie and they spot Austin and Nicole. Lucas thinks Sami will probably end up sad and alone. He and Sophie leave and Sami sees them share a kiss. Jack sneaks out in the middle of the night after receiving a mysterious phone call. Jennifer and Frankie follow him down to a bookstore where he's buying a book on assisted suicide. Jennifer takes the book and is shocked by what she sees. Bo and Hope argue about money, Chelsea and Shawn. They reach an impasse when Zack wakes up due to their arguing. Bo takes Zack back to bed and tells him a story. Hope overhears and realizes how good she and Bo actually have it.

Jansen arrives and Marlena is deeply moved by his words about the sacrament of marriage and the sacred vows Marlena and John made. John watches via hi-tech telescope and a listening device he planted. He watches and listens as Marlena makes up her mind that she has to be faithful to her wedding vows and can't divorce her husband. Jennifer sees Jack was about to buy a book on natural healing and believes Jack wants to fight his fatal disease and stay with them as long as he can. Alone with Jack, Frankie is wary. Jack deflects, saying all that matters now is giving Jennifer what she wants. Jack furtively buys the book on assisted suicide. Jack resolves he'll arrange it so no one will know it's a suicide. Shawn revives Mimi and is very worried about her. Mimi refuses to go to the hospital but she feels guilty that she freaked out and fainted because the baby was crying. Mimi feels she deserves what she gets. Shawn says she'll be a wonderful mother and lets her know that he'd like to date her.

Marlena tells upset Alex that she can't divorce John. Jubilant John watches and listens from Kate's suite via a listening device and hi-tech telescope. To Alex's chagrin, Marlena invites John over. John asks Kate to come with him to run interference with Alex. John and Kate arrive and Marlena is taken aback when John says he knows Marlena has changed her mind about divorcing him. Alex wonders how John knew. Kate talks about what a romantic and honest man John is. Unwittingly, she gives Alex an idea about how to get Marlena back. On the terrace, Marlena and John draw closer. John promises that Marlena will soon remember their love and they'll be together forever. Sami confronts Austin and Nicole while they dine at Chez Rouge. Austin assures her this was not a date but says Sami still had no right to interrupt. He refuses to get caught up in a triangle with Nicole and Sami. Sami hides in the bushes as Nicole questions Austin about the woman that he came back to Salem to be with. Austin won't say because right now he's concentrating on business. When Austin goes off to buy newspapers, Nicole confronts Sami. Mimi tells Shawn she's all wrong for him and he needs to be with a woman who can give him a family and a future. Shawn tries to object, but Mimi runs out in tears. Father Jansen gives her absolution but she can never forgive herself for what she's done.

John is thrilled as it appears Marlena has remembered her love for him but Marlena is still confused. She doesn't understand how, if she loves John, she could have slept with her ex-husband and been pregnant with his child. John explains she was a victim of the DiMeras. They wonder if Alex could be working for the DiMerass or might even be Stefano returned from the dead. Marlena is also upset that she didn't tell John she was pregnant and wonders if it was because she was afraid he loved Kate more than he loved her. John is forced to admit he did love Kate very much. Alex knows Kate's still in love with John and suggests he and Kate become allies. Kate hears Marlena ask John if he still loves Kate. Belle, still in the grips of postpartum depression, is convinced she has ruined up her life. Belle tells Shawn she never wants to lose him as a friend. Mimi is still in church praying to the statue of the Virgin Mary. The statue comes to life and convinces Mimi that she has to forgive herself for having the abortion. Mary shows Mimi a vision of a happy future married to Shawn. Mimi finally forgives herself.

John admits to Marlena that he loves Kate and Kate hears. Alex tries to enlist Kate's aid in breaking up Marlena and John but she is non-committal. Alex brings forth "proof" that John stopped loving Marlena while he was with Kate. Marlena asks John who he would rather spend the rest of his life with. Frankie comforts Jennifer, who is coming to terms with the reality that Jack is dying. Frankie promises Jennifer he'll be there for her after Jack is gone. Lexie comes to visit Jack, who complains that he has lost feeling in his left arm. Not wanting to put his family through the grief, he decides it's time he put his plan into motion. Belle tells Philip that Mimi and Shawn are no longer on the fast track to romance. Philip is sorry to hear this but questions Belle why she seems so happy about it. Mimi returns after her breakthrough with the Virgin Mary and is drawn to Belle's baby.

John tells Marlena that she is the only woman he loves. Alex goes on the attack, saying the only person who can love Marlena the way she should be loved is him. Alex receives a fax and says this will prove that everything he's said about his history with Marlena is true. He hands the documents to Marlena. Stunned, she asks everyone to leave. Belle struggles with her deep feelings for Shawn as Philip learns of Mimi's breakthrough. Belle awakes after a strange dream and finds Shawn and Mimi holding her baby. Mimi asks for Belle's forgiveness about their falling out and Belle witnesses Shawn sharing a sweet kiss with Mimi. Sami and Nicole battle over Austin. Billie reads Austin the riot act over the women. Austin confides in his sister that he moved home to be with the woman he loves. Sami and Nicole are about to hear who it is

Roman drops by Kate's hotel suite with divorce papers and is stunned to see Alex has moved in with John and Kate. John explains he's keeping Alex away from Marlena. Alex is confident that Marlena will choose him now that she's seen the fax pages he showed her last night. Marlena ponders the faxed papers and then calls and asks John to bring Alex, Roman and Kate to the penthouse. Marlena is about to make a decision that will affect all of their futures. She tells them she remembers some of her past with John, but also remembers times with Roman. Austin wants to guarantee his new company's success by landing a new upscale line of cosmetics. Victor hires Eugenia to be Lucas's assistant. Lucas refuses to work with her after what she and Kate did to ruin his wedding to Sami. Eugenia threatens a lawsuit and Lucas finally relents. Sami blurts inside info about the potential new account. Lucas thanks her for the tip but when Nicole and Austin find out, they're furious. Nicole wants Sami fired. Austin refuses but he won't let Sami work on the pitch. Lucas gets an appointment with the cosmetic inventor, Dr. Schnitzel. Austin and Nicole find out and plan to beat him to the punch. Sami, feeling left out, vows she will have the last laugh. Jennifer tells Hope she wants to throw a party for Jack. Jack is in excruciating pain and confides in Frankie it is the beginning of the end. Jack hides the truth in front of Jennifer. Hope and Frankie volunteer to plan the party while Jack takes Jennifer on a romantic outing. Alone with Hope, Frankie tells her Jack's plan for Frankie to take his place. Hope approves and believes Jennifer is still in love with Frankie.

Marlena is about to reveal which man she loves. John insists she take Alex out of consideration since he has violated his position as Marlena's psychiatrist. Alex defends himself and each man makes a romantic pitch. Marlena chooses Alex and John and Roman are rocked. Marlena cites the fax Alex showed her last night and the photo of young Marlena and Alex dressed as a bride and groom. Austin and Nicole prepare to land the Clear Visage account. Sami feels left out, upset that Austin won't let her be part of the presentation. Vowing to prove herself, Sami goes to the park and meets a strange woman named Lulu who gives advice that could change Sami's life. At Titan, Billie insists on helping Lucas win the Clear Visage account. Nicole and Austin arrive to make their pitch. As they do, Eugenia helps Lucas listen in via speakerphone. Lucas and Billie make their presentation, and because Lucas cheated, they win the approval of the eccentric Dr. Hans Schnitzel. Before Lucas can sign the contract, Sami bursts in, ready to turn the tables as she presents the fiancée of Schnitzel - Lulu, the woman she met in the park. Belle is privately displeased when she hears Mimi has a date with Shawn. Mimi is put off, as Belle warns her about dating on the rebound. Belle denies being jealous but her tears tell a different story. Belle and Mimi work on the baby's scrapbook and Mimi wonders who the baby looks like.

John, Roman, and Kate are reeling at the reveal that Alex and Marlena were married. Alex has produced a wedding photo and marriage license to prove it. Kate thinks the papers look legit and is upset that the three men present all want Marlena. Marlena still has no complete memory of her past with Alex. He lovingly recounts their courtship and John and Roman don't believe a word of it. Sami, using her newfound friendship with Dr. Schnitzel's fiancée, Lulu, wrests the Clear Visage account away from Titan. Nicole is dismayed that Sami has pulled it off. Austin is thrilled and Lucas declares that this is war. Nicole burns as Austin gives Sami a big celebratory kiss. Mimi confronts Belle on her real feelings for Shawn. Belle tries to use her postpartum depression as an excuse but Mimi wonders if Belle is depressed and anxious simply because she regrets marrying Philip instead of Shawn. Mimi tells Belle that Mimi thinks she might have a future with Shawn, but it can only happen if Belle doesn't stand in her way.

John tries to prove to Marlena that Alex is a fraud but it appears that everything he's telling Marlena is the truth. Marlena has a memory of the time Alex proposed marriage and is shaken. Marlena and Alex grow closer while Kate admits that she believes Alex is telling the truth. Lucas frets over losing the Clear Visage account to Sami and Austin. It looks like he might take a drink until Maggie comes to the rescue and talks some sense to him. Sophie shows up and lends her support. Lucas vows to bring Sami, Austin and Nicole to their knees. Nicole shows up at Chez Rouge and meets an unlikely seatmate at the bar - Roman. He drinks cosmospolitans with Nicole to drown his sorrows. Austin and Sami arrive at Chez Rouge to celebrate. Austin is ready to plow forward and secure a bank loan for the new business venture. Sami goes to the ladies room, where Nicole tells her she is there with Roman. Mimi presses Belle about her feelings for Shawn. Belle is honest admitting that she still loves him but she also loves Philip. Philip overhears the latter statement and is happy to hear it. Belle gives Mimi the green light to go after Sh

John has checked and can't find a record of Alex and Marlena ever having been divorced. He believes this is proof that they were never married in the first place. Alex shocks them all when he tells John, Marlena and Kate that he and Marlena aren't together because he was declared dead. Alex was a special ops agent who was captured. When he tracked her down, he saw that she was married and had children with Roman and Alex couldn't break up a family. When he heard she had amnesia again, he couldn't stay away. John verifies that Alex was in special ops, but says that doesn't prove he and Marlena were ever married. Austin takes Sami to see the space he's considering for his offices. Sami's shocked when she sees it is Brandon's old loft. Lucas is at Chez Rouge with Sophie when Hans Schnitzel and Lulu arrive. Sophie recognizes her as the "diamond divorcee," a woman who marries then divorces wealthy men, bleeding them dry. Lucas uses this info to blackmail Lulu into convincing Hans to take the Clear Visage account away from Austin and give it back to him/Titan. Jack is going to take pills tonight and has arranged a final, ultra romantic dinner for himself and Jennifer. They share memories and make love. After Jennifer falls asleep in his arms, Jack stares at the bottle of pills, knowing that the end is near.

Marlena realizes that if she's married to Alex, then her marriages to Roman and John were never legal. John quizzes Alex and he explains why he waited to reenter Marlena's life. He explains that everything he has done is to help Marlena remember not only Alex but her entire past. John and Kate start to go when Alex says he's not going anywhere. Frankie confides in Billie about Jack's plan for Frankie and Jennifer. Billie's worried about Chelsea and Abby out in the storm. Billie tells Jack Jennifer will be back but Jack admits that he's already taken all of his pills. Mimi tries to create a romantic evening for her and Shawn, but he's oblivious. Mimi fantasizes about making love with Shawn in the shower. Belle sees how much Philip loves her as he makes dinner for them while he's still in pain. Philip has inadvertently made too much food and thinks they should invite Shawn and Mimi over.

Marlena wants to be alone with Alex. John warns Alex that if he is playing mind games with Marlena, he will pay. Alex swears he's being honest and sincere. John fervently hopes that Marlena's memory will return and that she will remember their deep abiding love for each other. Marlena says she doesn't recall the bond she and John shared but she does remember her feelings for Alex. Austin and Nicole go full speed ahead in securing major loans for leasing and renovating new office space. Sami hopes they are not moving too fast as they still haven't signed the Clear Visage contract. Austin and Will reunite and plan to get together soon. Lucas is prepared to turn the tables on Austin, Nicole and Sami to take the Clear Visage account away. Lucas and Sophie begin to make love when Sami walks in on them. She insists Sophie leave because Will is not feeling well. Lucas is touched by Sami's mothering of Will. An important fax comes in that Sami grabs first. Lucas gets it away from her before she sees anything. Jennifer and Frankie are stuck on the road during an ice storm. Frankie tells Jennifer a story about one of their high school teachers who lost her husband tragically yet rediscovered love and happiness years later with her high school sweetheart. Billie is desperate to revive Jack after his suicide attempt. Jack, having an out of body experience, wonders if he's going to get into heaven. Billie finally brings Jack back to life and he is furious at her for intervening. Frankie and Jennifer return and Jack and Billie covers his suicide attempt. Billie tells Frankie the truth and they are both worried. Jack, now in terrible pain, holds Jennifer like he'll never let her go.

I still can't believe that Marlena and Alex are married, this storyline is getting old and sickening. Speaking of sick, as much as I don't want this, since Claire is in the hospital sick, do you think that it will be revealed that Shawn is indeed the father? This is just my personal opinion, I'm hoping Shelle is in the past. I absolutely love Shawn with Mimi!!! Is Jack actually going to be killed off? The end of Thursday's episode was outrageous, Jack's car spinning and spinning and then going off the bridge, talk about intense! Do you think he'll actaully turn up dead or be found alive in a few weeks or months?

We don't know if Jack died yet. As much as I don't want it, I think it will be revealed that Shawn is Claire's father. But, you know soap opera land, it will probably be revealed in about 6 months or even a year. I wish they had never brought up this stupid storyline, aren't these "Whose The Daddy" storylines getting rather old. All I know is and this is my opinion, if Shawn and Belle get back together, I'm going to hurl. Why can't Mimi wind up with Shawn? They look amazing together!!!

Could Jack be the new Phoenix? lol He dies and then comes back to life, time and time again. Personally, I don't see how Jack and Jen are a supercouple, they don't hold a candle to John & Marlena and Bo and Hope. They could be a supercouple if written right. Bo, Hope, and Frankie try to comfort Jennifer and Abby, who are still in denial that Jack could be dead. Bo, Hope, and Frankie don't think it's possible that Jack survived his car crashing over the bridge and try to prepare Jennifer and Abby for the worst. As Jennifer endures a serious case of denial, Jack's car is raised from the river and it's empty. Lucas is preparing his takeover of High Style. At the same time, Nicole and Sami argue about taking over the same company. Sami thinks it's too great a risk and could destroy Austin's company. Nicole disagrees and believes acquiring High Style will lead to great success. Nicole lets Sami know that Lucas and Titan are also trying to get control of High Style. Sami, trying to undermine Nicole in Austin's eyes, lets this "slip" to Lucas, who instantly flies to High Style's L.A. offices. Lucas arrives at High Style's offices and is shocked at who he sees.

Despite the bad news from Billie and Patrick, Jennifer refuses to give up on Jack. She becomes more dependent on Frankie. She says that she will never give up on Jack until she sees his dead body. Hope breaks down and says this thing with Jack is so terrible. She could never imagine losing the man she loves. Bo holds Hope tight and vows that nothing will happen to them. Sami learns that Austin still carries a torch for her sister Carrie. Angry and full of rage, Sami says that she won't let her sister steal a man away from her ever again. Lucas arrives at High Style skin care and learns the CEO is Carrie Brady. Carrie admits to Lucas that her storybook romance with Mike was anything but, so they both decided to call it quits while they were still friends. Lucas fills Carrie in on his wanting to take over the company, but Carrie says she won't allow it. Carrie makes him promise to keep the fact that she's back in the states a secret. Victor arrives at the hospital and consoles his son. Philip tells his dad he doesn't know what he'll ever do if he loses his baby girl.

Jennifer wakes up convinced that Jack will be home soon. Frankie is concerned, knowing the chances of Jack surviving the crash are slim to nil. Abby is very worried about her mom. Chelsea and Max, fresh from a futile all-night search for Jack, try to comfort her. Chelsea is touched and she sees a sensitive side of Max. Jennifer makes pancakes, knowing Jack will be hungry when he gets home. She trips the smoke alarm, drops the batter and has a meltdown as her emotions come pouring out. Jennifer's next-door neighbor arrives and asides to Frankie that maybe it's best that Jack's life ended this way so Jennifer didn't have to see him waste away and suffer. Jennifer overhears and goes ballistic. The phone rings and everyone is riveted. Frankie gets a one-way call from the police with news about Jack and Roman wants to come over to give the news in person. Bo comes home to Hope after his own fruitless search for Jack. Shawn arrives with bad news about Belle and Philip's baby. Bo and Hope are distraught, knowing the baby could've been Shawn's daughter if he'd married Belle. Kate knows that if Shawn finds out he could be the baby's father, Philip's life and marriage could be ruined. While Shawn goes to see his parents, Kate gets a moment with Mimi. Kate wants to see Mimi and Shawn settle down. She says if Shawn and Mimi are happy, then there's no chance Shawn will ever come between Belle and Philip. Kate offers Mimi a job at Basic Black. Belle is a stay-at-home mom for now and Kate could use someone like Mimi who knows about youth and fashion. Mimi and Shawn can save some money and get married that much faster. Philip and Belle have spent the night with their baby in pediatric ICU. Suddenly the baby goes into a code blue and Belle realizes her baby is dying.

Bo, Hope, Billie, and Roman arrive at Jennifer's. Together with Frankie, Abby, Max, they finally get Jennifer to accept that Jack is dead. The clan comes together with bonding, support and love in this time of grief. Hope fills Billie in about Philip and Belle's baby's illness and they talk about the potential horror of losing a child. Chelsea, empathizing with what Abby's going through, grows closer to Bo. Frankie promises to be there for Jennifer as long as she needs him. Philip and Belle's baby is stabilized after the code blue. Lexie determines that she needs a transfusion. Kate is terrified that they'll discover Philip's blood is not compatible and that Shawn is the baby's father. Lexie determines that they can't use Philip's blood because he's still taking medication for his leg/amputation. Shawn and Mimi volunteer to be tested and Kate is worried. Shawn's blood, of course, is compatible, but Lexie isn't surprised because matching Claire's type isn't that unusual. Lucas continues to visit with Carrie at the Highstyle office, promising not to tell anyone he's seen her. Carrie remembers happy times with Austin and Carrie agrees to have dinner with Lucas. Sami is still fuming over finding Austin's Fil-o-fax entry revealing that he's still in love with Carrie

Philip and Belle are troubled over Claire's continuing health crisis. Despite what Kate knows about the paternity of the baby, she tries to console Belle when Lexie has to put the baby through a rigorous exam. Eugenia fills Lucas in on Jack's death. Lucas makes a date to take Carrie to dinner. Lucas goes to the hospital and Kate urges her son to go after this mystery woman. Sami and Austin have words about Carrie after he finds her going through his private book that reveals he still loves Carrie. Eugenia runs into Sami and has some choice words, taunting her with the fact that Austin has moved on without her. Sami vows that Carrie will not interfere in her love life ever again.

Sami asks Austin about his feelings for Carrie. Austin says it's none of Sami's business. Sami is stung and she decides to call Carrie to check on her. Carrie doesn't tell Sami that she's in the States or that she has left Mike. Lucas calls Carrie and says he is looking forward to their dinner date. Carrie clarifies that it is not a real date. Lucas tells Carrie he just wants to catch up with her as friends but secretly he wants more. After overhearing Austin might have feelings for Carrie, Lucas puts Austin on notice not to underestimate him. Lucas arrives to pick up Carrie and overhears that she still has feelings for Austin. Undeterred, Lucas takes Carrie out, promising her a night she'll never forget. Austin confides in Kate that he's in love with a woman who's with another man but he doesn't tell her it's Carrie. Kate advises Austin to go for it and destroy the competition not knowing she's set her sons on a collision course. Philip and Belle pray for their sick child. The antibiotics don't seem to be working and Belle fears she will lose her baby. John and Marlena enter to support their daughter. Shawn runs into his mother in the hospital cafeteria. Hope has brought Zack in for his checkup. Shawn vows he's going to be there for Belle and her baby even though he has no future now with Belle. Hope accepts that Shawn's future is with Mimi.

Lucas helps Carrie wrap and order Christmas presents for her employees and Lucas is affected by Carrie's concern and generosity toward them. Sami, Austin and Nicole head to Los Angeles. Austin and Sami are meeting with a financial backer while Nicole wants to investigate Highstyle's operations. Austin warns Nicole not to do anything underhanded or illegal. Nicole applies for a job at Highstyle, using a pseudonym, making Carrie's assistant, Becky, suspicious. Austin and Sami arrive at a restaurant for the meeting, not knowing that Lucas and Carrie are at the same restaurant. Kate is determined to prevent anyone from ever finding out that Shawn, not Philip, is the father of Belle's baby. She breaks into the hospital records room again and changes Shawn's genetic profile. She is caught by a security guard and is waiting in the security office when the door opens. She is shocked to see who the guard has called in. Jennifer has her hands full with a fussy Jack Jr. and upset Abby. Frankie is there to help but is surprised when Jennifer tells him he can leave after Jack's memorial service. She wants to start standing on her own two feet. It starts to snow and Abby reminds Jennifer that the rose bushes her dad planted haven't been covered. Jennifer goes outside to cover them and is shocked when Jack appears.

Lucas and Carrie have dinner in Los Angeles unaware that Austin and Sami are also there trying to close the deal to take over Carrie's company. Lucas suggests to Carrie that he buy her company and she misunderstands; she is deeply hurt. Lucas explains he was only doing it so that she could come home to Salem. Nicole infiltrates the High Style offices but Becky is on to her. Nicole manages to steal a vital document but Becky notices it's missing and calls Carrie. Austin asks Sami how Carrie is doing and Sami is furious that all he cares about is Carrie. Nicole arrives and she and Sami have words. Nicole spills wine on Sami's dress, which sends Sami to the ladies room on a collision course with Carrie. Worried about Jennifer, Frankie calls Hope and tells him that he's leaving. Jennifer is in the garden when she comes face-to-face with Jack. He tells her that she should move on with Frankie. She rushes in to tell Frankie and Hope that Jack's alive. Victor learns of Kate's treacherous deed of attempting to switch Shawn's blood type. He's about to turn her in to the cops when Kate tells him Shawn is the father of Belle's baby. Kate tries to appeal to Victor but he tells Kate that she will tell Philip the truth. Shawn arrives with food for Belle and they have a few nice moments. Shawn looks at the baby and says she could have been his.

Lucas and Nicole have words and Austin nearly loses his funding. Fortunately, Nicole steps in and helps put the pieces back together. Carrie is trapped in the ladies' room, forced to listen to Sami prattle on to an attendant about her troubles with Austin and Lucas. Sami actually says some nice words about Carrie. Carrie slips and is nearly caught but gets out of there and finds Lucas. Jennifer tries to make Frankie and Hope understand that she did see Jack. Jennifer explains what Jack told her about Frankie, and Hope wonders if Jack's ghost did come back. Jennifer admits that she does have feelings for Frankie, but Frankie is not Jack. Unbeknownst to Jennifer, Frankie has overheard. Victor wants Kate to tell Philip the truth about the baby. A medical crisis develops and Kate manages to avoid telling Philip the truth for now. Kate presses Victor and he reluctantly agrees to keep quiet about the paternity of the baby.

Belle is with Shawn at the hospital as she got Philip to go home and get some much-needed sleep. Lexie brings bad news that Claire is in kidney failure and hemorrhaging internally. Belle is distraught when Lexie says the baby needs another blood transfusion. They have some of Shawn's blood on hand, but it's not enough. Belle and Shawn can't donate any more for safety reasons. Lexie tries the blood bank but they are out of the baby's blood type. Shawn lies to a nurse so he can give more blood while Belle, desperate to save her baby, is unaware that Shawn is risking his own health. John sees Kate outside the hospital and insists on taking her out to dinner. Alex takes Marlena out to Chez Rouge where they dance but Marlena only remembers dancing with John. When Kate and John show up, Alex is not happy. Maggie decides to do some matchmaking and gets John time alone with Marlena. Kate tells Alex that John's heart will be with Marlena for as long as she lives. John kisses Marlena under the mistletoe and she responds. On the dance floor, Sami looks on as Austin appears to recognize Carrie. He instead recognizes another woman, while Carrie and Lucas slip out the door. Sami is jealous as Austin offers to buy the woman, Rory, a drink. Rory is clearly attracted to Austin and enjoys his company. Lucas and Carrie relax after a close call. Carrie admits she has feelings for Austin. Lucas covers his negative reaction and Carrie admits she can't get mixed up in a triangle with Austin and Sami again. Carrie realizes she left some work papers in the restaurant and when she goes back in, is shocked to see Austin and Sami kissing passionately. Carrie rushes out, very upset. Lucas is privately pleased when he hears what happened and offers Carrie a comforting shoulder. Unbeknownst to Carrie and Sami, Sami and Austin's kiss was for charity.

John kisses Marlena and she is upset. John points to the mistletoe and feigns that it is simply a holiday tradition. Alex, suddenly wondering where John is, moves off with Kate to find John and Marlena kissing. Marlena has memories of being with John and with Alex during holidays past. Alex asks which memories have stronger feelings. John hopes Marlena will pick him, but Marlena chooses Alex. John is fuming and Kate begins to think that she may have a chance with John after all. Lexie and Belle are shocked when the nurse rushes in with another blood transfusion for the baby. They realize Shawn lied and risked his health to save Belle's little girl. Belle is moved and finds Shawn just as he collapses. Belle can't revive him. Lexie comes in, stabilizes Shawn and reads him the riot act about his reckless behavior. Shawn doesn't care what happens to him, all that matters is saving the baby. He feels as if she was his own child. The baby's condition worsens and Belle calls John. John, Marlena, Kate and Alex rush to the hospital. When the alarms sound again, tearful Belle collapses in Shawn's arms. Bo and Hope spend a romantic night decorating the tree and hanging Christmas stockings. Hope mentions that her grandmother ordered a Christmas ornament with Belle's name on it for the Horton Christmas tree. Alice is keeping it, believing eventually Shawn and Belle may be together. Hope bought a stocking for Chelsea and Bo is touched. Deeply moved, Bo dances with Hope and they make love. Bonnie can't wait for Mimi to get her own ornament on the Horton Christmas tree. Mimi blurts out that she's sleeping with Shawn and Bonnie does a happy dance. Bonnie cautions Mimi to keep Shawn away from Belle. Mimi plans to surprise Belle and Philip with a fully decorated Christmas tree.

Claire's situation becomes dire as Father Jansen is called to baptize her and give her last rites. Shawn, Mimi, Marlena, Alex, John and Kate are worried and helpless. Belle doesn't want everyone staying on a "death watch" and asks them to please leave so she and Philip can be alone with their daughter. Shawn goes over to Bo and Hope's and gets a special angel from the Christmas tree, which he brings back and hangs on the baby's crib. Mimi hears two nurses discussing the fact that Shawn's blood type matches the baby's. John, concerned for Marlena, watches from Kate's hotel room as Marlena berates herself for not doing more for Belle. Alex reassures her and says he loves her and will be there for her. He kisses her and Marlena responds. John watches and tells Kate it looks like he's lost Marlena. Chelsea and Max visit Bo and Hope. Chelsea sees the stocking Hope bought for her and appears to be moved. Bo catches Max and Chelsea kissing and warns Max not to mess with his daughter. Chelsea bonds with Zack and Bo lectures her about her recent speeding. After she leaves to go back to the tree trimming with Billie and Patrick, Chelsea spins off the road and has an accident. Austin and Sami win tickets to the Rolling Stones concert. Lucas manages to get two tickets for him and Carrie via his Titan connections. They all arrive go to the concert, clearly on a collision course.

Bo and Hope talk about all the tragedies affecting their families and friends this holiday season. Little do they know Chelsea is unconscious, bleeding and trapped in her wrecked car. She is rushed to the hospital and Bo and Hope are called. Shawn and Mimi come home from the hospital and Mimi insists Shawn rest because he over-donated blood to Claire. Mimi is still worried and curious from overhearing the nurses say that Shawn's blood type matched Claire's and Philip's didn't. She searches the Internet for answers. Bonnie arrives and freaks when she sees what Mimi's doing. She convinces Mimi that Shawn's blood type matching and Philip's not matching Claire's isn't that uncommon. Shawn makes Mimi promise that if they wind up together, they'll adopt a lot of babies. Carrie, Lucas, Sami and Austin attend the Rolling Stones concert and have some near misses. Austin thinks he sees Carrie on the TV screen and goes backstage to check. Austin looks out into the audience as Carrie kisses Lucas.

I agree.. I think Lucas and Sami Still have feelings for each other... Eugenia is just a trouble maker and will do anything to keep Sami away from Lucas.. B/c of Kate!!!!.. But I think Sami and Lucas should get back together , and just forget the past and move on.. but Lucas is pig headed and won't forgive her for her mistakes...I feel bad for sami i like her .. and Lucas they make a perfect couple in Salem! I am so sick of Carrie and Austin.... They are soo freaken Annoying UGHHHH!...And Billie is becoming annoying to with the whole lying and stuff for Chelsea... The girl is crazy all she thinks of herself * Chealsea*... , and she's making her mother take the blame for it and I don't think that is right for her to do that i hope she lives with the guilt the rest of her life and someday she'll confess to hitting Zack when she drove Bo's Car and she's stupid to burn her temporary Liscense's , and Bo know's he signed the papers for her to drive.. Patrick arrives home after having read about Billie's confession in the paper. He questions Chelsea, who claims ignorance of what happened. Patrick leaves to go see Billie and Chelsea is a nervous wreck that people will learn that she's the one who really hit Zack. Billie is at the police station where Roman tells her Bo told him the truth. Billie insists this is the way it has to be and Roman can't tell anyone. Patrick arrives as Billie is being taken down to booking. They confess their love for each other and he tells her that something about her story isn't right and he's going to get to the bottom of it. Hope is overwhelmed by grief as she visits Zack's bedroom. Bo tries his best to comfort her but she lashes out at Billie for killing Zack. Bo tries to tell her the truth about Chelsea but ultimately can't. Hope has a poignant fantasy of Zack being alive, then, clutching his stuffed animal and blanket breaks down again in despondent tears. Carrie realizes Austin is the one who took over and destroyed her company. Sami is thrilled as Carrie blames Austin for ruining her life. Austin tries vainly to defend himself but Carrie won't be mollified. Nicole barges in and doesn't provide any help. To Lucas and Sami's delight, it looks like Carrie and Austin are through for good. Jennifer takes off to find Frankie only to see him right outside her door. She confesses she's had feelings for him in the past but never when she was married to Jack. Jennifer asks Frankie to stay, be her friend and to help her get over Jack and be there for her family. Frankie agrees and they go into a warm embrace.

Bo tries in vain to comfort a grieving Hope. Everywhere Hope looks she sees bittersweet reminders of Zack. Julie, Maggie and Alice come over and the Horton women rally around Hope. Seeing his wife is in good hands, Bo goes to visit Billie, although Hope is angry at the idea he's going to protect the woman who murdered their son. Kate rushes to the police station where Patrick drops the bombshell that Billie confessed to being the hit and run driver who killed Zack. Kate is beside herself and can't believe it's true. Patrick is also suspicious and thinks something else may be going on. In a moment of emotional frustration, Billie reveals the truth to her mother that she's covering for Chelsea. Billie lashes out at Kate saying she was derelict in her duties as a mother. Billie does not plan to make the same mistake with Chelsea. Bo arrives and Kate asks him to help Billie do the right thing. Bo lays down the law and tells Billie it's time to stop the lies. Abby and Max drag nervous Chelsea into the station corridor saying she has to tell the police that Billie is lying. Chelsea refuses to incriminate herself. Austin tries without success to reverse the hostile takeover of Carrie's company. Sami's inwardly thrilled that Austin has broken Carrie's heart. Nicole blames Sami, who successfully covers her guilt. Austin takes full responsibility and will face the consequences. Lucas comforts Carrie as she wonders how Austin could do this to her. Lucas wonders if Carrie will forgive Austin.

Bo demands Billie tell the cops the truth. He can't go on lying to his wife and he has to tell Hope that Chelsea was responsible for Zack's death. Billie adamantly disagrees and says they have to protect Chelsea. Bo and Billie were not there for her as parents and now, when she really needs them, they can't throw her to the wolves. Billie presses her case and points out that Bo risks losing Hope if he tells her the truth. Jennifer confides in Hope about seeing Jack's DVD message and Frankie revealing his feelings for her. Hope tells Jennifer to lean on Frankie. Hope doesn't know how she would ever get through this family tragedy without Bo by her side. Hope goes to the police station and finds Bo embracing a tearful Billie. Patrick grills Chelsea about Billie's confession. Frantic, Chelsea tries to cover and reminds Patrick that she totaled her car and she has no license. Abby and Max listen in, privately wondering how long Chelsea can go on lying. Patrick asks Max to take him to the garage where Bo's car was towed. Alone with Abby, Chelsea burns her temporary license. Marlena professes her love for Alex and states she wants a future with him. She suggests they renew their wedding vows. Alex is deeply moved and agrees. John confides in Kate that his recent actions drove Marlena and Alex closer than ever. John and Kate visit Lois Banks. Clearly insane, Lois predicts John has lost Marlena forever and thinks Kate is in love with John. Kate dismisses the prediction as the ravings of a lunatic. John overhears a nurse gossiping about Marlena and Alex planning to renew their nuptials.

Chelsea is worried as Patrick looks for evidence at Max's garage to clear Billie. He doesn't find anything and goes to talk to the cops who arrested Billie. After he leaves, Max tells Chelsea she has to do the right thing and come clean. She can't let her mother take the blame for her crime. Max talks to his agent on the phone, realizing that once the truth comes out, his racing career will be over since he obstructed justice. At the police station, Patrick gets a mysterious lead that he thinks can prove Billie's innocence. Hope is furious when she finds Bo embracing Billie. Before Bo can tell Hope the truth about Billie's innocence, Billie covers. She says Bo wasn't holding her, he is as furious as Hope is. Billie was hugging him, asking him to please try to understand what happened. Hope rails at Billie for killing their son. Billie sends Bo a veiled message when she says nothing is more painful than for a mother to lose her child. Hope leaves and runs into Chelsea. Chelsea, emotional and scared, tells Hope she's so sorry about what happened to Zack. Hope says Chelsea isn't responsible for what her mother did. She embraces Chelsea as pained Bo looks on, ready to spill the truth. Lucas, Sami, Carrie, and Austin all learn about Zack's death and Billie's confession. They contact Caroline and Kate and reach out to Hope, Bo, and Shawn. As Austin defends his position to Lucas, Sami subtly undermines Austin's claim of innocence to Carrie. Austin is determined to get Carrie back. Lucas is equally determined to make sure that never happens. Sami has successfully undermined Carrie's faith in Austin, and Carrie tells her sister that she finally thinks she can really trust her.

Hope is en route to an island get-away. Little does she know Patrick's headed in the same direction. A man prepares to bring Hope to her beach bungalow and gives her a flower, telling her that she will find love here on their island. Chelsea urges Billie to go after Bo and Billie sees her daughter for the conniving person she is. Chelsea tells Billie that she belongs with Bo and now that Hope has apparently left him, she needs to be there for him. Upset over losing Hope, Bo hops on his bike and leaves Salem. Bo nearly hits a deer and swerves off the road. Billie learns from Roman that Bo was out on the open road and goes after him. She finds his wrecked bike. Billie looks for Bo and suddenly a shot rings out. Bo is shooting beer bottles and shoots Billie. Carrie and Lucas go on their first real date. He gives her a Magic 8 ball and the two seem to be growing closer. Sami learns about the date and maneuvers Austin to Chez Rouge, too. Carrie is determined not to let this bother her and moves out onto the dance floor with Lucas. Austin is glum, but Sami tries to cheer him up by saying perhaps Carrie and Lucas are not on a date. Eugenia, acting as hostess for the evening, insists that it is.

Hope finds herself at Patrick's beach bungalow. She tells him what happened between her and Bo and why she's there. Hope looks around the bungalow and sees pictures of Patrick with the local children. Patrick says he left Salem because of Hope since he didn't want to be the reason she and Bo broke up. Patrick urges Hope to go back to Bo, but Hope says she can't. Bo realizes he's shot Billie but thankfully he only grazed her arm. Bo expresses his anger toward Hope for leaving and Billie supports him. Bo wants to take Billie to the doctor but she's lost her car keys in the woods. Bo has a sleeping bag and the two of them bunk down together. During the night, Billie has a nightmare and Bo comforts her. Mimi's bridal shower with Calliope, Bonnie, Kate, Lexie, Caroline, and Belle plus Shawn's impromptu bachelor party are in full swing. When Bonnie hires a stripper, Bonnie and Calliope come to blows, and Roman and Caroline must pull them apart. Roman approaches Kate but she pushes him away. Victor tells Kate that they must tell Shawn the truth about Claire. Philip overhears part of it, but the two hide the truth. Belle finds it harder to let Shawn go, despite Caroline encouraging her to honor her vows. Tek shows up to see Lexie and Abe. Tek plays off his seduction by hanging out with Abe and Roman. Tek manages to seduce Lexie and they have sex in his car. Little do they know that Abe is looking in the car and is disturbed by what he sees. Frankie and Jennifer share a romantic, magical evening culminating with a passionate kiss.

Victor is about to tell Shawn that he's the biological father of Belle's baby against Kate's wishes. Philip offers a heartfelt toast to Shawn and Mimi to their future happiness. Victor realizes he can't tell Shawn as it would break too many hearts. Mimi wrestles with her conscience and much to Bonnie's dismay, Mimi decides the truth has to come out. Belle secretly asks Shawn to meet her on the roof. Mimi, unable to tell the truth to Shawn's face, writes him a letter explaining everything. Shawn finds the letter from Mimi and starts to read it. Mimi watches, knowing once Shawn reads what she wrote their relationship is over. Belle waits for Shawn on the roof. As a man's arms wrap around her from the back, Belle assumes it is Shawn. She says they can't keep lying about their feelings and have to tell the truth. Belle is shocked when she realizes it is not Shawn holding her, but Philip. Philip wants to know what Belle is talking about. Lexie and Tek make love in the back of Tek's car. Abe comes over and seems to see them. John finds Abe outside where he reveals he hasn't fully recovered his night vision yet. Lexie is hugely relieved but says she can't keep doing this with Tek. Tek protests that he's the man who can give Lexie what she needs in a relationship. Lexie is still very drawn to Tek, and they make wild and passionate love again. Alex takes Marlena out to dinner where he assures her that John Black won't be a problem for them in the future. Abe urges John to do whatever it takes to get the goods on Alex. John leaves on a mission. Marlena, meanwhile, has romantic memories of John. Alex takes her home and John breaks into the penthouse searching for evidence to use against Alex. John hides in Marlena's bedroom when the two arrive home. Marlena takes a sleeping pill, gets ready for bed and thinks of her ex-husband. John is about to escape, as Marlena sees him and calls out to him. Marlena confesses she still loves John.
