View Full Version : Super Hot or Super Cold?? TripperFan 07-21-2005, 10:32 AM You only have two choices - would you prefer it super hot and humid like this summer has been or would you prefer super cold weather? Tuesday Weld 07-21-2005, 10:34 AM I'd have to go with super cold. :/ Brian Damage 07-21-2005, 10:45 AM Keep me in the cold. I love the fall the most. TripperFan 07-21-2005, 11:03 AM I'm with you guys - at least in the cold you can bundle up. I hate running a/c very much (it ends up feeling like you're living in a refridgerator) and I can't stand my "pubic head" in humid weather. Bring on the cold for me! And yeah - Fall is my favourite time of year too! MsOrange 07-21-2005, 11:08 AM I looooove blankets! So i'll take the cold Jonathan 07-21-2005, 11:30 AM I'll take cold. Not super cold, just cold. Munsters#1 07-21-2005, 12:09 PM Sometimes, when I'm outside, I feel like I'm frying to death. I'll take super-cold! Number 9 Dream 07-21-2005, 12:31 PM  Me too! Keep me in the cold. I love the fall the most. Courtnee 07-21-2005, 12:36 PM 12 replys for cold. 0 for hot. dlemond 07-21-2005, 12:38 PM Keep me in the cold. I love the fall the most. I agree. Fall is the best. I would take the cold- except if the hot was on a tropical island. I could live with that. There is always air conditioning. *MIBabe03* 07-21-2005, 12:42 PM Super Cold. Miss Golden 07-21-2005, 12:52 PM The hotter it is, the less the women wear. vienna waits 07-21-2005, 01:12 PM Super hot because it's easier to cool down with air conditioning. When it's super cold it just plain sucks to be outside, regardless of how many layers I'm wearing. And the thought of going outside in the frEEEEEEEEzing weather to start my car in the morning sends chills down my spine. I hate it. vienna waits 07-21-2005, 01:13 PM Though I don't love heat and humidity. I hate it, but I'm spoiled on AC so it doesn't really matter. TripperFan 07-21-2005, 01:23 PM 12 replys for cold. 0 for hot.  I know! I'll bet though if I were to post the same poll during a freeze out this coming winter, it'll be the opposite!  *MIBabe03* 07-21-2005, 01:24 PM  I know! I'll bet though if I were to post the same poll during a freeze out this coming winter, it'll be the opposite!   Hey if you can remember, I think you should. Superstar 07-21-2005, 01:25 PM super cold Superstar 07-21-2005, 01:26 PM  I know! I'll bet though if I were to post the same poll during a freeze out this coming winter, it'll be the opposite!  Probably  *Pleasant Tomorrow* 07-21-2005, 01:28 PM 12 replys for cold. 0 for hot. I think it might have something to do with it be summer right now. When it's winter they'll be saying they want it super hot ;) *Pleasant Tomorrow* 07-21-2005, 01:28 PM  I know! I'll bet though if I were to post the same poll during a freeze out this coming winter, it'll be the opposite!  Dammit, you said it before me :grrbald:  TripperFan 07-21-2005, 01:30 PM Dammit, you said it before me :grrbald:  :p Actually I almost said it in the header post! I had a feeling it would go this way. Even in winter though when I'm freezing, I'd still take it over this garbage. Unless of course my car has broken down in the middle of nowhere and I'm stranded. 'Course, they saying freezing to death isn't all that bad - dying from heatstroke is! *Pleasant Tomorrow* 07-21-2005, 01:35 PM :p Actually I almost said it in the header post! I had a feeling it would go this way. Even in winter though when I'm freezing, I'd still take it over this garbage. Unless of course my car has broken down in the middle of nowhere and I'm stranded. 'Course, they saying freezing to death isn't all that bad - dying from heatstroke is! Freezing is pretty awful though. In 9th grade we had a firedrill while it was freezing out and my throat closed up because of the power of the wind at my face :grr: Bleh. Let's just say both super hot AND super cold suck. swedeace 07-21-2005, 02:32 PM I'd much rather the weather be very cold. You can always bundle up. With the heat, you can only take off so much.... ;) dawsongirl 07-21-2005, 03:51 PM Cold. I can't stand being hot and sweating. I seriously hate sweat. vienna waits 07-21-2005, 03:55 PM the poll is kind of biased. just because you pick hot doesn't mean you love the heat. most people hate both extremes. sorry that was bugging me because the cold one doesn't say "I love the cold!" ... just had to say it pissed: TripperFan 07-21-2005, 04:24 PM the poll is kind of biased. just because you pick hot doesn't mean you love the heat. most people hate both extremes. sorry that was bugging me because the cold one doesn't say "I love the cold!" ... just had to say it pissed: I did that on purpose - obviously people would choose the more moderate temps. - that's why I'm giving only the two EXTREME choices. Otherwise, I prefer about 78 degrees and sunshine! ;) Karen* 07-21-2005, 04:30 PM Some people like it hot!!!! ;) MsOrange 07-21-2005, 04:54 PM I'll take cold. Not super cold, just cold. that was NOT an option :snob: Mr. Television 07-21-2005, 05:07 PM cold barwars 07-21-2005, 05:12 PM Well in Syracuse, NY (the bad weather capital of the world).... we get the worst of both worlds. I prefer Super Cold, it can be "fixed" easier than Super Hot. JDS84 07-21-2005, 07:17 PM I would rather be hot and sweating than freezing any day of the week. Hollow 07-21-2005, 07:21 PM Bring on the heat and humidity - I love it! 5 17.86% Keep me in the cold - I can always bundle up! 23 82.14% lmao, if it were winter and really cold outside all the time right now, it would be the opposite. TJL 07-21-2005, 07:46 PM Since I work outside 95% of the time, this recent heatwave in the NYC area has been torture. I hate this hot weather. I'll take the cold weather any day. Titania 07-21-2005, 07:58 PM Super hot. I love heat and humidity (ok my hair doesnt like the latter) I'm one of those odd people that describes the weather the past week as "absolutely gorgeous" TripperFan 07-21-2005, 08:49 PM Since I work outside 95% of the time, this recent heatwave in the NYC area has been torture. I hate this hot weather. I'll take the cold weather any day. I saw guys tarring the road the other day and felt sooooooo sorry for them - it was 104, plus the heat of the tar. OMG. A couple of years ago we had our roof redone and it just happened to be like it has been this past week - I kept running JUGS of ice water up to them and told them they were welcome to use the pool during their lunch break. I have a lot of respect for anyone working in those kind of conditions. I sure couldn't. TripperFan 07-21-2005, 08:50 PM that was NOT an option :snob: That's RIGHT!! And don't you forget it!!! :p:grr: Dutabi84 07-21-2005, 10:43 PM Give me the heat. Having lived through both extremes, I find heat a little more tolerable. There's nothing worse than having to get up at 6 a.m. to go outside in the freezing air to start your car, and let it heat up for about 9 hours (give or take several hours). Mysty Eyes 07-21-2005, 11:09 PM Not that I like to be cold, but you can bundle up. So... as long as I'm not stuck outside in sub-freezing weather, I do prefer less hot weather. I live in one of the most moderate locations around: Los Angeles westside. I HATE our humidity. And believe me, I am aware that what we have is minimal compared to other places. I'm a wimp with heat and humidity. :faint: EmoJoe 07-21-2005, 11:13 PM Hmm I picked cold, but come to think of it I might actually rather be hot Living In a '70's Dream 07-21-2005, 11:13 PM Since I live in an area where it is either too hot or too cold..but I love the summertime and I do not mind the heat... TheHappyBurgerMeister 07-21-2005, 11:34 PM Well, where live you always experience both (but at opposite times of the year of course). I like it that way because I'd hate to live somewhere where it's the same kind of weather/temp. all year round! As for my choice, super cold because you can keep putting on layers of clothes to keep warm. When you're really hot you can only strip off your clothes so much and you can't strip off your skin! Fleet 07-22-2005, 12:05 AM I pick hot (but not humid). It's nice to be able to walk out the door without having to put on three shirts and a big bulky jacket. Also, the evenings are nice for bicycling after a warm day. Janice 07-22-2005, 12:07 AM I hate extreme weather either way, but if given the choice, I'll take the cold. I hate the heat with a passion. Raven-Symone 07-22-2005, 02:45 AM I said super cold Mikado 07-22-2005, 03:23 AM  I know! I'll bet though if I were to post the same poll during a freeze out this coming winter, it'll be the opposite!  Do it Cathie ;) !!! ps , I vote cold too....with a pizza to eat, and a hockey game to watch! :D ABlairican Pie 07-22-2005, 08:17 AM I live in the most depressing, dampest, grayest part of the country: Western Washington. I am GLAD that the sun and the heat have returned. It's a rehearsal for HELLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :joke: Moonlight Lady 07-22-2005, 09:11 AM Super Hot -- I love the heat and humidity. David 07-22-2005, 10:20 AM super cold Rachel3118 07-22-2005, 04:41 PM I prefer hot weather. I think some hot summer days are a perfect temperature and in places without A.C. I'm never that hot. I hate the temperature in the winter and I don't like A.C. that much. Dude111 04-16-2025, 04:24 AM I prefer cooler weather... Too hot and I feel aweful!! |
