I got this news from a thread pavanbadal posted in the General Sitcoms Discussion forum.

Starting on Monday, September 26, 2005, Step by Step will no longer air as two-episode blocks on ABC Family at 2:00-2:30 PM. Instead, only one episode will air at 11:30 AM.

Is there anyone mad about this as much as I am? :soapbox:

I think it's Boy Meets World.

I can't believe they're doing this to a great show.Why can't they to this to Full House?Not only is it on ABC Family,but it's also on N@N . That show should only be on for a half hour

Man!!! I'm glad I taped all the episodes on the last run! I agree about Full House---ABCFam plays it 4 times a day AND on weekends! Stop the insanity!

Why do they show 500 episodes of Full House per week and not even cut it down when the new Fall Schedule starts?!?! Its rediculous...BTW does anyone know any information on a DVD release of Step By Step or have any episodes or seasons for sale???

Who knows when Step by Step will get released on DVD, or even if it ever gets a DVD release? I've been saying...Warner Bros. needs to get their heads out of their asses! :rolleyes:

You can ask someone over at the Trading Post forum if they have episodes for sale though. :)

ABC Family IS the Olsen Twin network. I believe they have shown every movie/special/show that they were ever in... and they overplay each and every one of them.

No, FOX Family was. They started that crap. Oh well, at least all ABC Family really shows now is Full House.

As for Step by Step, it had a wonderful run I thought airing twice a day. It's been airing since March 2001 I believe. Non-stop too. At least it will still be on this fall.

It always seems like scheduale changes are a negative thing. Well now no one can watch step by step. :mad:

Be lucky they're still showing one episode. Most shows get wiped out all together. That's why I started taping all my fave sitcoms. As new ones go into syndication each year, our ol' favorites get thrown into a vault never to be seen again. And as someone said, Step by Step on dvd? I think you might see Mr. Belvedere on dvd before that! :happyface

Ugh. Oh well. Either way, I'm still at school, so I can't watch it.

Until what year does ABC Family have rights to air Step By Step?
