It's okay. I drink soup and hot drinks on hot days too. Hell, I even take hot showers on hot days!

The New York City area has been pretty awful this week. The humidity has been ungodly...

Dammit, now I'm sad.

The max. and min. temps for Death Valley yesterday were:
129/98. That is the hottest maximum temperature since 1998!

I would do anything to be on the sunnyside right now. It's been cold and foggy here practically for most of the summer. :(

Yeah, typical cool San Francisco weather! It was only 67 there yesterday- similar to the beachs on the L.A. coast (70 at Santa Monica Pier, 67 at Newport Beach and 69 at Oceanside).

Why are you sad? :(Two reasons:

1. Like TJL's location says, "it is ****ing hot here!"
2. I'm bingeing... and there's nothing "good" to binge on except hot chocolate, which I don't even WANT! Argh!

90 degrees isn't bad. Try 100F (37C). It's been like that here for the last couple of weeks. *chokes from the heat* Ack!

Well, we've actually had a few sunny and warm days around here in the past month. I wish they would come back.

Hopefully you guys will get a break tomorrow - we FINALLY did today. Sunday had to be the worst I can ever remember - I couldn't breath AT ALL for even 2 mins. outside that day. We're outside the city too, so the air quality is usually better and about 4 degrees lower. I can't image what it must have been like in the city.

Luckily today was absolutely gorgeous - still hot, but no humidity at all so it was quite tolerable.

Oh, man would I go for a week of nothing but rain! Anyone wanna trade? ;) I LOVE rain, and it's so hot and dry here that we NEED the rain. Don't want anymore forrest fires happening anymore in my state. *shakes head*

90? That's cool weather!

I hate the heat. I have to work out in that weather, so I'd prefer rain. It brings it down to the lower 90s to 80s and sometimes 70s. Problem is, when the sun comes out, the humidity rises, and then it's even harder to work!

That's it though - you're in a relatively "dry heat" - that's tough, but not like when humidity is added - that's brutal! My friend's mother and sister are over from Iran - they're used to heat, but this stuff has been killing her! She said she doesn't want to live in Canada - its too hot here!

This heat is unbearable. I would die without my AC, but it's to the point that I don't want to leave the house. Today, it was 94. I hate the summer.

Ugh, I know. We have central air. I hate staying in the house all day, but when I leave I just want to go back. Summer does freaking suck.

We're expecting to be just shy of 100 degrees Friday-Monday here... with heat indexes topping 110 probably. It'll be the hottest it's been in 3 years here.

It was bad enough today and the heat index was only briefly above 100. 110 is getting into the deadly range.

I make sure the a/c works in my Cadillacs. And they all use R-12 freon which is colder than the newer (from the mid-'90s and later) R134. The air temp at the vent outlet is 48-50 degrees. Really cools off the interior of the car!

My husband's Vette was like that - all black exterior and interior with that stupid long back window - it would heat up like an oven!! I burned myself (with actually red burn that stayed) on those seats and belt buckle a few times!!! I really hated that car!
