My computer is equipped with a DVD writer. I know that means I can burn files or things like home videos on DVD, but can I also make copies of other dvds? yeaaaaah I know it's not legal, but neither is CD burning. I've looked on my computer for any type of program that would help with this and I've found nothing. I tried inserting blank dvds to see if they had programs that would come up, but nothing happened. are there programs out there that let you copy DVDS? THANKS.

I don't know of any LEGAL programs that'll let you copy DVDs... the new ones at least have a copy right on the DVD and it wo'nt let you copy it. I have one too, but haven't been able to use it :(

bummer.. I figured most would probably have copyright block things anyways. I just thought I'd ask because I've been getting Dawson's Creek on DVD from the library. I already copy CDs from there so I figured why not try DVDs.
