I can't even imagine having to put up with that kind of heat. It was 95 here the other day and I thought I was going to collapse. It's funny though because everyone I know who has either lived in or visited Arizona always says the same thing. "The hot weather in Arizona isn't bad because it's a dry heat so it doesn't really bother you" I've never been to AZ myself but 100 degree weather would definitely get to me whether the heat was dry or not.

Yeah here in Chicago it's not only hot but we have a severe drought. We just passed the 10 year anniversary of the 100+ weather where over 300 or so died from the heat.

Yeah, well, I was there during an October, and I was still annoyed with the heat.

It's mainly in the Phoenix area where I live. People say, "Yeah but it's a dry heat" but we do feel the humidity too. People have to understand that drinking alot of water is a must. Not alcohol or soda. We do live in the desert, it's suppose to be hot here in the summer. I feel so sorry for the elderly, some can't afford to run there air or get it fixed when it's down. I think there are programs to help people out with problems like that. Luckily though by Sunday it's suppose to be down to 104. Another thing that gets me is people who waste water. and run their appliances during the peak hours from 1 pm to 8 pm. A big no no. They don't care.
