I saw a lot of the earlier episodes and I later stopped watching because I felt the show was nothing but a 30 minute power contest between the boys and Lois. Every time Lois punishes and yells at the boys it makes them more determined to get even. That's true according to Dr. Rudolf Dreikers' book Children, the Challenge.
