If anybody here has seen the two original pilots for All In the Family please give a mini review. I think the 1968 (?) version was considered lost, but the UCLA archives is supposed to have it.

TripperFan 07-21-2005, 11:54 AM Yeah, neither did I. I've seen parts of one of them with a different Gloria and Mike (thankfully it never took off). Mikado 07-21-2005, 12:07 PM Yeah, neither did I. I've seen parts of one of them with a different Gloria and Mike (thankfully it never took off). Yeah Richard Nixon as Mike and Bella Abzug as Gloria were just too farfetched to believe!!! ;) ps...never seen any of these lost pilots, actually Pavan 07-21-2005, 12:16 PM TV Land aired one of the pilots in 1998 or so. Lamont 07-21-2005, 07:35 PM I have 1 of the unaired pilots called THOSE WERE THE DAYS, it is the same script as the pilot that aired, BUT different actors play Lionel, Mike (HE IS NOT EVEN MIKE OR POLISH either, he is called DICKY and is Irish!) and a different Gloria... also Archies last name is JUSTICE not Bunker.. I have the pilot on dvd, email me if u want it nmboye@aol.com RSVP |
