the one thing that irks me more than anything is when people inform me what I think about things and then it's totally off, I have lost friends in the past because I wasn't about to let it go.

Yesterday I gave a friend hell over spoiling the Harry Potter book for me, and then his reply was "it's not like you give two ****s about Harry Potter anyways". And that set me off more than the spoiler. I went to see both Chamber and Prisoner in the theaters and was looking forward to Goblet (I have ADD, so I don't even attempt the novels) so I feel like reprimanding him for that and dropping him for good, because who the hell is he to tell me what I think about something, when I actually do like it?

I've stopped talking to people when it comes to "I know you don't like _____" and it's a singer I actually do. I dunno what it is, but people trying to play psychic and telling me what I think about things is the absolute most thing to set me off.

last night me and my dad were arguing over whether i was less hateful after i stopped taking paxil. he was saying that judging by how i acted i didn't hate myself or the world as much after i stopped taking it when i did, and we ended up bickering at each other over the difference between an observation and an inference. i kept telling him it doesn't matter how i act, only i know how i really feel. it got annoying.

Sarah.............. I think that I know what you are saying. When someone says"I know how you feel" or the ultimate insult.............."It could be worse" really is annoying and insulting. No one in ones own situation or trouble who hasn't been there cannot know how you feel.(I have been there believe me) So it is not possible that they can understand your particular problem. I have learned to have patience with them but I know that it is very very difficult to do so! Please try to be patient with your dad. As I can see that he has no idea what you are going through. It's not his fault.

Well, I know you don't like to listen to people. So I'm not go to bother saying anything.

I think it's very annoying but for me it isn't worth losing a friendship over.

i hate when people do that!!!

i had a friend last year (eh, dont talk to him really anymore..) that would always act like he knew had everyone pinpointed when he didnt at all. dont tell me what im like (or what i like for that matter)!

so yeah, not too picky at all imo.
