I am so sick of watching these depressing feature stories on a Sports Network. If i want to see that i can turn to Dateline. Does every Sunday Night Conversation have to be about something that's depressing?

View Full Version : Why does ESPN-SportsCenter have to turn into Dateline every Sunday Night? TVFactFan 07-18-2005, 04:00 PM I am so sick of watching these depressing feature stories on a Sports Network. If i want to see that i can turn to Dateline. Does every Sunday Night Conversation have to be about something that's depressing? Dr. John Becker 07-18-2005, 06:52 PM I have to agree with that. Sportscenter blows on Sunday night. Seinatra 07-18-2005, 08:15 PM I find no reason to watch Sports Center in the summer months - no highlights that I am interested in seeing. Mr. Television 07-18-2005, 08:27 PM I find no reason to watch Sports Center in the summer months - no highlights that I am interested in seeing. Same here. I rarely turn ESPN on after the NCAA Tournaments over, at least until the NFL Hall Of Fame inductees are announced. Seinatra 07-19-2005, 10:19 AM Not really - I watch/listen to our team occassionally, but I'm not that interested in watching what happened in all the other games. Cute kids by the way! Brian Damage 07-21-2005, 12:17 AM Do you guys think the White Sox are for real? No moeee 07-21-2005, 12:19 AM Looks like the Yanks are getting healthy again. Back in the Playoffs? Seinatra 07-21-2005, 08:54 AM That's the way I feel with basketball. I hear you, that is another looooong sports season. I like basketball but it is there are too many games. Brian Damage 07-21-2005, 09:43 AM Looks like the Yanks are getting healthy again. Back in the Playoffs? Maybe, they need to fix their pitching problems. They also need a center fielder. I think the Yanks made a mistake by not signing Carlos Beltran. Dr. Jazz 07-21-2005, 10:56 AM I think the Yanks made a mistake by not signing Carlos Beltran. I couldn't agree with you more. I read where they are also looking into getting Soriano back, but he would have to play centerfield. Even though the Yanks got A-Rod in exchange for him, I still hated to see Soriano go and would love to have him back in pinstripes. I can't believe they're hardly using Tony Womack at all these days. He really got the short end of the stick. He's a really good player and a hell of a runner and base stealer but thanks to Cano's success this season, Womack has taken a back seat to all the action. |
