I know Mrs. Garret left around the beginning of season 2. I looked in the the episode guide and I can't find what episode she left. What episode did she leave the show??? Does anybody know?? Emka 11 :)

Her name appeared on the credits on the episode "the Rivals" which aired on December 5, 1979, which was the last mention of her character on "Diff'rent Strokes". But I think her last episode was "Mrs Garrett's Romance".

I think The Rivals could have been last, I think Mrs Garret's Romance was slightly before it. She was never written out of the show properly, and no mention by anyone was ever given of where she had gone to.

Technically, Mrs. G's last appearence was when Phillip and Maggie got married in early 1984. "Arnold's Hero" was probably her last appearence as a regular, which was a few episodes after Mrs. Garrett's Romance. I only remember a few season 2 episodes but I do remember her in that episode.

I thought she left to be a nutritionist after Phililph and maggie got married and she thought that she wasn't needed any more since maggie was there to raise the boys. So she got a
job at Eastland private school or was it the other way around..
