recently, I found myself watching a show I never thought I'd like. (That's So Raven) so it made me wonder, what other shows do people secretly like but wouldn't boast to their friends about? lol

Well, this is a reality show, but I like "Dog The Bounty Hunter". :lol: I don't think I'm in the majority, but that's ok. :lol:

Days of Our Lives. It can be so over the top and campy and the acting isn't even that great, but like a moth to a flame I can't look away.

Full House

Full House seems to top the list, every way you look at it. Although some people my age seem to like the show, I just can't imagine why. ....and I like it too. It just doesn't make any sense. Most definitely a guilty pleasure.

I am Addicted to Stupid Reality Shows And Im Embarrassed to like. I Like Growing Up Gotti, My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, The Next Food Network Star, And The Next One Im Really Ashamed Of Because Im A Guy And That Is Kept Cause I Find It Funny ...

Although Full House is probably the only series I'd be ashamed to say I watched.... theres a lot of shows I own on DVD that I wouldn't exactly parade around and say I own.

10 years ago, when it was on TV, if I saw someone watching it I would make fun of them.

Last summer I watched it every day, both 2 episodes each day. Of course, I tell everyone it is because of Katie Holems, but it is damn good writing I like. At least the first year is excellent.

I am ashamed of this cause I made so much fun of people back in the day for watching this but, recently I have found myself addicted to 90210. I know its not a sitcom but it is still embarresing.

As for sitcoms,
Full House (dont really know if I like it but I still watch it cause it aggrivates the hell out of me and I have to criticize it)

I really hate to admit it but the other day I was flipping through the channels and I found myself watching Zoom. :blush:

Major ditto. I don't really hide the fact that I watch reruns of Dark Shadows and Ryan's Hope, but Days of Our Lives...eek. Most of the time the plots are bad and the characters are beyond annoying (John, Marlena, Bo, Hope, Belle, Shawn-D...if I keep this list going I'll probably end up naming everyone on the show), but I still end up watching episodes of it on SOAPnet. *sigh*

Some shows I would include are As The World Turns, Guiding Light, and Full House.

The Suite Life of Zack, and Cody I really like the show and think its a cute show but I never really say because somebody may have a snickering comment on the Internet for me because I'm going to be 27 and like this show.Because they have nothing better to do than make snickering comments.You know what I'm saying.

I always get blushed when I tell people I own ALF- Season One. It's a good show, and funny, so why am I ashamed of it....?

I was about to say the same thing! Well, I'm almost 22. I've watched a few episodes and I liked it. I think the plot/premise of the show is good. Actually I watch a lot of Disney Channel shows!

Wanted on TNT. It's like The Shield, only without the great writing, great acting and multi-faceted characters.

The Waltons. I'm not ashamed of it but everytime I tell someone I watch it, they're like, "Ha ha! YOU watch The Waltons?! Ha ha ha! I hate that show! It sucks!" And then I rant on and on about how awesome that show is.

actually, Sex And The City is an Emmy-winning show, it's won Best Comedy, Best Actress and Supporting Actress, it hardly qualfies as a guilty pleasure.

Buffy is another show not to be ashamed of. The people who hate the show and consider it something to be ashamed of liking usually have never seen the show and judge it because of the movie. I do remember a lot of people fussing when TV Guide put it in the list of the 50 greatest TV shows ever (where it rightfully belonged) and the people who balked at it mostly where people who have never even SEEN the show and decided it was crap because they didn't like the Luke Perry movie. Buffy was only behind Trek and X-Files last year when TV Guide ranked the top 25 cult tv shows, so that's another show you shouldn't consider a guilty pleasure.

This is a very stereotypical view of Star Trek fans. I'm a huge fan of the Star Trek shows, but I don't fit any of the typical geeky stereotypes.

Exactly. Being 14 yr old guy it really isint the most popular show. I am not truely "embarrased" to watch any of the shows on my list. (even though I don't regularly watch all of them) If I like a show, I am going to watch it and I don't really care what anybody else thinks. I'm just saying that my friends make fun of me for liking shows like Buffy, Sex And The City, Full House ect. But what do they know? They could't realize brilliant television if it smacked them in the face. (I am not saying that all of the shows I listed are brilliant. Actually shows like Full House, Sabrina & Lizzie are pretty crappy, but what can I say? I Like em.)
